Instructions for the final exam and oral exam – Saturday 29th
1. Final exam from 8: to 9:00 AM
2. Oral exam from 9:00 to 12:00 PM
3. The students will be divided in 4 groups for the oral exam:

4. Topics for each group:

Group Nº1 – How can people use social media to
change the world? (Pollution, education, raising
money, endangered species, etc.)
Group Nº3 – Hollywood blockbuster (describe your
favorite film)
Group Nº2 – How can you stop wasting time?
(Propose some ideas on how you can stop
wasting time)
Group Nº4 – Internet fame, talk about your
favorite Youtuber.

5. You have to start your presentation with a greeting and end with a farewell.
• Hello /Hi / Good evening, etc Mr. Vásquez and classmates…
• I’m (student’s name) and today I will talk about … /I’m going to talk about …
and then you keep going with your presentation.

6. Your presentation has to include:

• Introduction of the topic
• Conclusion (your personal opinion)

7. You have to use some of these topics in your presentation

• Group Nº1 - vocabulary about feelings & first conditional
• Group Nº2 - vocabulary about internet terms & first conditional
• Group Nº3 - vocabulary about films & second conditional
• Group Nº4 - vocabulary about suffixes and second conditional

8. To make your presentation you can use PowerPoint, Canva, Google Slides, etc.

9. Your presentation has to include pictures related to your topic.

10. The presentation is individual.
11. You can’t use sentences or paragraphs in your presentation; however, you can use
keywords / titles on your slides.

13. You have to turn on your webcam during your oral exam.
14. Assessment criteria:
• Intonation (tone of voice through all your oral exam) 4 points
• Fluency (proper expressions, speed, accuracy and complexity) 4 points
• Pronunciation (correct pronunciation of the words) 4 points
• Grammar (correct use of grammar) 4 points

14 – 16 2 points
11 – 13 1 point
0 – 10 0 points

15. Your presentation must last from 4 minutes to 5 minutes

16. Practice and check your time.
