LET’S READ!!

My First Field Trip.

I remember my first field trip like it was yesterday. My

classmates, teachers and I visited a farm. My friends and I

shared a loaf of bread and a bunch of grapes for breakfast

before we began our journey. Once we arrived, we saw a

stable of horses in the barn. While we were there, we got

to feed an entire flock of sheep, even the cute little babies!

We also witnessed a brood of chicken being fed. I will

never forget one particular part of that trip – the owner of

the farm let us played with a litter of kittens he owned

before we have to go back. We took pictures and kept

them as souvenirs!

Underline and list down all the collective nouns that you can
find in the passage below in their respective groups
correctly.
Eg: I watched a pride of lions in ‘National Geography’
yesterday.

Last week, my elder sister brought me to a concert. I

watched a troupe of dancers - ballerinas, danced

gracefully on the stage. I also witnessed a crew of

musicians played various musical instruments as the

singer sang beautifully. The concert ended with a flock of

birds being released to fly onto the air. It was magical! My

sister captured a stack of pictures to remind us of that

concert. I hope she would bring me to the concert again

someday!
