1 SCOPE:

➢ This Method Statement describes the methodology that will be used for the well
development by airlifting method.

2 SITE PREPARATION:

➢ Contractor shall make site visit to ensure that site conditions is permitted to work as
per issued construction drawings and approved shop drawings.

➢ Part of area near Deep Well No. to be closed for traffic.

3 REFERENCES:

6 QUALITY CONTROL:

6.1 All site activities will be in compliance with site quality plan.

6.2 Only approved material and plant will be used on site and unsuitable material will be
cart away as per the Engineer’s direction.

6.3 All required tests will be carried out as per specification and reports will be forwarded
to the Engineer for review and approval.

7 SEQUENCE OF WORK:

7.1 Well Development

7.1.1 Development by airlifting method using air compressor.

7.1.2 Mobilize 750 cfm Air compressor and well site.

7.1.3 Install air line.

7.1.4 Prepare or locate existing canals for discharge water.

7.1.5 Conduct airlifting for 12 hours.

8 SAFETY:

8. 1 All works shall comply with the safety instructions of site safety manual and
all safety recommendations shall be followed.

8.2 All workers will be given safety induction training by the safety officer before
starting work & necessary personal protective equipment to be used by all
workers.

8.3 Care will be taken in handling materials during loading, unloading & shifting
to working area.

8.4 Secure access roads will be provided to the different working areas.

8.5 All personal protective equipment shall be used as appropriate according to

the nature of the different jobs involved.

8.6 Adequate lighting shall be provided during night shift work.

8.7 Good cleaning and housekeeping shall be maintained overall
