and influential magazines for a diverse range of people. Bauer Media is part of the
wider Bauer Media Group and is one of the number one publishers of digital
commercial audio in the UK. They are an entertainment network of innovative multi
platform brands which reaches about 25 million consumers. They claim that no other
media owner has the diversity and range that Bauer media does. They also claim
that it is so much breadth and depth into cultural connections that makes them
different from other companies.

They are striving to make an accepting company for all where people from all
different cultures will feel accepted. The company was founded in Hamburg in 1875
and is currently in its 5th generation of family ownership. Bauer Media is therefore a
privately owned international business that is found in 14 countries including the
Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Israel, Norway, Poland,
Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, UK, Ireland and the USA and has 15,000 employees this
makes it a international company.Them being a privately owned business means
that they are a company whose shares may not be offered to the public for sale and
which operates under legal requirements less strict than those for a public company.
Bauer Media is known for Magazines, Radio, Digital, TV and events, which makes
it a cross media company.
