SCHEMATIC READING
 When reading the schematic diagrams, it is sometimes difficult to get a full understanding of the components
and their respective locations. Therefore the components, cables, and connection points have been labelled to
provide the user with an easy method to find specific functions etc.
WIRE COLUR CODE
 On page one of the electric schematic diagram there is a wire
B=BLACK K=PINK
colour coding key. The example below indicates the number and
G=GREEN N=BROWN
O=ORANGE R=RED
colour of the specific wire which the user may be trying to identify.
P=PURPLE S=SLATE
U=BLUE Y=YELLOW This info is telling the user that PLC A102 is also
W=WHITE represented/continued on pages 2,3,5 & 7. 2,C1 indicates page
2, row C, column 1 on the electric schematic.

Green wire number 18 with cross

section of 1mm2.

K1 E-STOP MONITOR RELAY

To E-stops via X1A

 The E-stops are wired independently to

each socket connection on the side of the
main control panel.
 All E-stops are connected to terminal
rail X1A and then to the E-stop monitor.
 If an E-stop fault has occurred the PLC
A102 will signal to the PDM screen A101
where the fault will be displayed.
