Part A : Reading (Revision)


I. OBJECTIVES:
By the end of the lesson, students will be able to:
- review vocabulary they have learnt related to national parks.
- have further – practice of reading for detailed information and guessing the
meaning of words in contexts.
- get more knowledge about some national parks in Vietnam and in the world
as well as the importance of plants and animals conservation.

 Vocabulary:
Nouns: wilderness, contamination, temperate zones.
Adjectives: orphaned, tropical, sub – tropical.

WARM UP Play a game: Bingo


- Divides class into pairs.

+ Each pair will be given a piece of
paper with 9 squares available.
+ They need to choose randomly 9 out of
12 words given on the board and write
them down on the paper.
+ Teacher will show the hints by reading
the meaning of any words.
+ Which student can guess the exact
word will stand up as fast as possible and
say the word for the others to circle on the
paper, and that student will get point for
his/her pair.
+ The 2 fastest pairs with three exact
answers called displayed in a horizontal or
vertical or diagonal line.
- Checks understanding.
