I. Definition and the importance of communication skill

Definition:

Communication is that the process of sending and receiving messages through verbal or nonverbal
means, including talking, writing and behaviors. More simply, communication is claimed to be the
formation and exchange of meaning. It is the meaningful exchange of knowledge between two or a
bunch of individuals. Communicative competence designates the potential to put in intersubjective
interactions, which suggests that communication is an inherent social interaction. A person with
excellent communication must combine well all communication skills together, which is hard and a

Importance of communication skill:

Good communication is an crucial element in reaching productivity and maintaining sturdy working
relationships in the least stages of a company. Employers who put in time and energy into returning

colleagues, managers and clients are usually valuable assets to an organization and it's a skill which
might commonly set people except for their competition when applying for jobs (BEQIRI, 2017).
The workplace is that the commonest place for miscommunication, and it must have severe aftermaths
on your career. Therefore, as a specialist, you need to crave to own brilliant communication skills.

II. Verbal communication

Verbal communication is that the act of sharing information between individuals by the utilization of

The tip to own great verbal communication is successfully combining confidence, respectfulness, modesty
and non-verbal communication with it.

III. Non-verbal communication

• Wait until the person is finished reproval respond

• Listen carefully, don't interrupt and show that you simply have an interest within the topic

• target the conversation and remember to not bring distractions into your way of interacting

The tip to possess natural non-verbal communication isn't to indicate any disinterest while
communicating, don't let your visual communication show your inconfidence and take a look at to be calm
in any situation.

IV. Communication in my group

In my group, we communicate with one another by using Google Meet and Messenger. We couldn't have
face to face conversation thanks to the geographical distance of every member within the group.
Therefore, we used Google Meet to call one another. When working with one another, we use
communication skills like verbal communication, writing and graphic to permit others absorb information
more properly and rapidly. because of the nice communication skills of every member, my group has been
successfully understood each other’s ideas and complete the tasks easily and quickly.

 We select the words to convey, the way we are saying them

 We listen to one another idea, respect it but if it's something get wrong, we wait until this one
done speaking
 Giving questions is often takes place in our conversation or meeting, because we wish to reflect
and clarify opinions of this one who are speaking.
 Utilizing images or graphic to support speaking is that the great way sometime be used during my
group meeting
C. DEMONSTRATE THAT YOU HAVE USED EFFECTIVE TIME MANAGEMENT SKILLS IN PLANNING AN
EVENT (P2)
I. Definition and the importance of time management skill

Definition:

Time management is the ability to use your time productively and efficiently. You could also think of it as
the art of having time to do everything that you need, without feeling stressed about it. It sounds simple,
but it is much harder in practice. This page explains some of the principles behind good time management
(Bettes, 2021).

Importance of time management skill

The importance of it slow management comes all the way all the way down to what proportion it impacts
your personal and career. Time management is organizing your day so as that you just discover the
simplest use for every second. Excellent time management allows you to create a healthy and balance in
your working progress and home life. the results of failed time management include missing deadlines,
living with extreme stress and unsucessful career.

It helps you waste less time, and avoid more friction and problems Properly managing time includes
making a to-do list, allocating time to every item from your to-do list, then scheduling those tasks on your
calendar. By doing so, you’ll now not be indecisive about what you have got to try to to next, and whether
you’ll should finish everything you would like to (Bettes, 2021).

In other words, those that are good at time management are good at elderly and doing things. they're
also, however, better at prioritising, and dealing out what really needs doing and then discarding the
opposite things.

D. DEMONSTRATE THE USE OF DIFFERENT PROBLEM-SOLVING TECHNIQUES IN THE DESIGN AND

DELIVERY OF AN EVENT (P3)
I. Definition and the importance of problem solving

Definition:

Problem-solving skills will facilitate your pinpoint problems in your workplace and effectively solve them
in an exceedingly timely fashion. it's among the foremost important skills employers are trying to find in
applicants today. Individuals with problem-solving skills are often self-reliant and can identify an
underlying workplace issue and implement an efficient solution (Chevallier, 2016).
Importance of problem solving:

Strong problem solving skills allow you to be critical in your vocation, not just in your personal life.
Employers also consider common problem solving as essential to the sustainability of their companies
within the current fast-changing global economy. for workers, problem solving is used to build realistic
and innovative solutions and to demonstrate employers independence and initiative. Efficient problem
solving skills allow employees to look at issues, determine the severity of the problem and evaluate the
impact of other solutions. Workplace training geared toward improving problem-solving skills encourages
employees to figure with co-workers, clients, partners and suppliers more effectively. so as to unravel
problems in a very constructive way, qualified participants learn to use available resources. Besides that,
by seeing a difficulty from an expert, not personal, point of view, they practice achieving consensus.
Participants are trained for organizational scenarios by training games, including brainstorming exercises
and online business simulations (Chevallier, 2016).

 Make the impossible possible. Knowledge alone isn't the key to solving problems but rather,
complimenting it with systematic problem solving approaches makesthe difference. This helps
individuals and organizations overcome perilous challenges.
 causes you to a stand out. People are trained to try and do the same old. they need acquired skills
and knowledge in what they are doing. However, people can hardly solve problems once they are
unexpected or unprecedented ones. If you become a daily convergent thinker at your workplace,
you're easily noticed, recognized, and appreciated.
 Increased confidence. regardless of where you're employed or what your profession is, having the
ability to unravel problems will boost your confidence level. Because you're sure of your ability to
resolve problems, you don’t spend time worrying about what you'll do if a problem should arise.
II. Some techniques and tools for the problem solving
1. Trial and error

Trial and error technique is largely a process of learning from repeated trials and errors which get into the
way of finishing something until success. While the trial and error approach affords you numerous chances
to search out an answer, it’s not meant to help you learn why something works a particular way. the
answer is that the most vital factor then, in this problem solving method. keep one's eyes off from this
method if your situation has too many options, because it won’t be feasible to check every single solution.
Trial and error is best for situations that give you copious amounts of your time and safety to seek out an
answer. It’s definitely not a technique for locating the best—or even all—the solutions. In order to own
this system up your sleeve, it's encourageous to do solving the matter over and yet again. Soonly you may
frame your mind of adjusting the thanks to gradually solve the matter.

2. Fishbone diagrams
Fishbone diagrams are a usual method for problem solving, since they seem rather like the skeleton of a
fish until they're complete.

Dynamic fishbone diagrams facilitate your to guage the potential root causes of an issue that may branch
faraway from either side of a spinal line connected to the pinnacle. With fishbone diagrams tool, it can let
you:

• Define a spread of potential explanations for a current problem

• Investigate any alternative by splitting it into sub-causes

• See the relations between contributing factors

3. Mind map

Written notes, mind maps are built so you'll be able to physically organize and rearrange your brains so
that you'll be able to experiment with thoughts, conceptual ideas and techniques within the same way
because the brain (Chevallier, 2016).

To continue with one definition that expands further exhaustive makes it easier to resolve problems with
mind maps:

 Explain with less time for unknown problems or procedures

 Share and discuss new ideas
 Enhance group awareness which will contribute to more successful solutions Mind maps are a robust
method to resolve issues since they're built to supply the pliability to come up with solutions. There
are three means of mind maps which are common and effortlessly comprehensible:
 Mental maps: helps you to be told about the roots of a workplace problem and what can occur in a
collaborative digital space
 Idea maps: will facilitate your plan and coordinate your chaotic thinking process across a good variety
of colours and pictures
 Concept maps: are one in every of the simplest ways to create your thoughts around a possible idea,
since they help you to construct integrated, visual representations of abstract concepts. Since those
three styles of mind maps have slightly the identical purpose, which helps people summarize
documents and improve creativity or flexibility in studying and researching.

Mind mapping has many potential applications to clinical education, and may be adapted to several
situations. It is used as a teaching resource, as an aid to preparing and reviewing lectures, and the
technique allows notes to be written and reviewed quickly, and most significantly enables information to
be easily updated. Mind mapping may be employed in many situations including problem‐based learning,
small‐group teaching, in a very one‐to‐one context, as an examination tool and for private revision
(Publishing, 2009).

Tool:

In order to be effective at problem solving you're likely to want another key tools, which include:

 Creativity: Problems are usually solved either intuitively or systematically. Intuition is employed when
no new knowledge is required - you recognize enough to be able to make a quick decision and solve
the matter, otherwise you employ wisdom or experience to resolve the matter. More complex
problems or problems that you simply just haven't experienced before will likely require a more
systematic and logical approach to unravel, and for these you'll must use creativity. Searching: Defining
and solving problems often requires you to try to to some research: this may be an easy Google search
or a more rigorous scientific research (Chevallier, 2016).
 Methods section for ideas on a way to conduct effective research.
 Teamwork: Many problems are best defined and solved with the input of other people. Team working
may sound sort of a 'work thing' but it's even as important reception and school similarly as within the
workplace.
 Emotion Intelligence: it's worth considering the impact that a controversy and its solution has on you
and others. Emotional intelligence, the power to acknowledge the emotions of yourself et al., will help
guide you to an appropriate solution.
III. Problems and solutions in the training event

Sesions in training event Problems Solution

Workshop Not enough seats We need to calculate the
number of participants and
prepare more seats than this
number incase some seats might
be broken.
Microphone is broken The microphones always have
problem so that we should
prepare plenty of backups.
Lack of engagement and During the workshop if nobody

Coaching sessions Some participants might come If they provide justifiable reasons
late in advance, we can give them
more time to come.
Team Building Activities Someone is injured Someone might be injured when
doing these activities, therefore
the host have to provide a
medical team to cure them.
Lack of discussion When doing these activities,
each member in the team will
have their own opinion,
therefore the leader needs to
listen to all the opinions and
make the final decision.

E. DEMONSTRATE THAT CRITICAL REASONING HAS BEEN APPLIED TO A GIVEN SOLUTION (P4)
I. Definition and the importance of critical reasoning

Definition:

Critical thinking refers to the power to properly conceptualize, apply, analyze, synthesize and evaluate
information till a valuable answer or solution is obtained. It is an intellectual ability and a skillful way of
thinking that allows someone to reason further or deeper – than the typical person does – with clarity and
relevance, accuracy and precision through the depths and breadths with sound evidence, good reasons
and fairness. it's usually based on evidence and logical reasoning (Team, 2021).

Critical thinking goes beyond merely acquiring and retaining information; it treats and seeks out
information in a very more careful and bold manner. Additionally, it goes beyond the mere acquisition of
skills but focuseson the continual or consistent usage of acquired skills.

Importance of the critical reasoning:

Indisputably, any ability to think better than others do are going to be of great value. There are times when
problems with no obvious or proven solutions arise. In such situations, we've got to seek out our own ways
of solving them, but this can not be achieved without critically thinking through problem. another benefits
of critical thinking are:

Critical thinking is useful during stressful situations. Whiles stress may affect the choices an individual
makes, a critical thinker may depend on his logical reasoning and decision making skills to form the correct
decisions.

Critical thinking will facilitate your in your search higher academic achievement moreover as to actualize
your professional or career goals.
Here are six advantages which critical thinking might bring us if we've got an oppoturnity to develop them:

• It encourages curiosity

• It enhances creativity

• It reinforces problem-solving ability

• it is a multi-faceted practice

• It fosters independence

• it is a skill that you simply will need for the remainder of your life (Team, 2021).
