VII. Class
Policies:

1. Attendance policy as stipulated in the student manual will be strictly implemented.

2. There will be two major examinations (midterm, and final examinations). Special examination will only be applicable for major
examinations upon presentation of a valid excuse letter along with pertinent document as medical certificate and the like. The
special exam must be taken within one (1) week after the student has returned to class. Failure to request for special exam or
provide the excuse letter or medical certificate would mean a score of zero for the exam. Removal examination will be given to
students if the computed final grade is below 75 % but not lower than 70%.
3. Student participation is highly recommended. Board works and seat works will be given for practice purposes and as part of self-
exploration and discovery. Assignments will be given to supplement student’s learning.
4. A scientific calculator is a must for engineering students. Students without a scientific calculator will not be allowed to take
examination for subjects that require calculations.
5. All requirements, exercises, and plates must be submitted or complied within 1 week after the final exam. Late submission will
not be considered unless an extension was allowed.
6. Student attempting to cheat will be given warning. Student caught cheating will automatically get a score of zero and may also be
brought to the dean/guidance counselor for counselling and/or disciplinary action.
