GREEN UNIVERSITY ACTION PLAN
(PERFORMANCE TASK)

TEACHER’S OVERVIEW OF THE PERFORMANCE TASK IN G.R.A.S.P.S.


Goal: The learners should be able to create an action plan on the different
environmental problems occurring in the community and how to solve these issues.
Role: Students are environment advocates in the local government units in their city
or municipality.
Audience: Local environmental advocates in their city or municipality.
Situation: Young environmental advocates have been asked to come up with an
action plan to solve the concerning issues present today. To address these problems,
they will design a plan that contains information about the issues and how to solve
them.
Product/Performance and Purpose: Young advocates need to prepare an action
plan containing the issues and the goal of what will be the things to do or the
product/s made to limit environmental problems.
Standards & Criteria for Success: The action plan must include the following
contents:
 Title
 Introduction
 Methodology
 Conclusion
 References/resources

OBJECTIVE:
 The learners should be able to create an action plan to solve the different
environmental problems or issues facing today.

PROCEDURES:
 You are an environmental advocate hired by your mayor. Your job is to come up
with an action plan that is in line with our core values of our school, Integrity of
Creation, and be part of the green university project to help make it a more
environmentally friendly place. You will submit your action plan through PDF
 Project Deliverables:
a. Title (with names and section)

b. Summary (2-3 sentences)


 In a paragraph form, you are to summarize the material to which
you are making a report. Do not merely repeat the text. Should you
feel the need to selectively use quotations from the material, put
them in the quotes and follow the end of the sentence with a
parenthetical citation (e.g. Bishop, 2016). Failure to cite your
material constitutes plagiarism and will result in having your
paper turned to you for proper attribution and points will be
deducted for being late.

c. Introduction (3-6 sentences)

necessary, and the significance of the study.

 You are to critically analyze the topic which you are making a
plan. Your analysis should address issues from the article
presented by the teacher.
 Includes the plan description (specific details regarding the
implementation of the project).

e. Conclusion (2-3 sentences)


 It should also conclude with a paragraph addressing this question:
How does this topic relate to your own life experiences,
observation, or knowledge from various sources about the topic
from the articles that you discussed in this Action Plan? Explain or
tell a story.
f. References/ resources (APA format)

d. The common mistakes that students make that should be aware of are as
follows:
