Preparation of a residential layout plan

PROCEDURE:
1] Install Google Earth Pro.
2] In the search bar enter the desired location. Here we entered the following location:
from:16.67812, 74.22905 (Major Dhyanchand Hockey Stadium)
3] Clicking on the Ruler icon, we can navigate through the measurement parameters like LINE,
PATH, POLYGON, CIRCLE, etc.
4] Polygon tool is been used to mark the RESIDENTIAL LAYOUT AREA (ABCD).
5] Using mouse cursor, right click on the desired locations to get the desired area.
6] Polygon is created- Area and Perimeter are displayed.
7] To get the length measurements click on the Line tool and generate a line on the area
created the length and width measurements are displayed AB, BC, CD, AD.

DISCUSSION:
• The selected area lies at the residential hub of Kolhapur
city.
• The proposed plan has a total area of 21850 sq.m.
• Main motive is to make the business plan profitable
by following all the standards and the government
norms.
• The outer space (frontage) is provided for commercial
purpose, which has a growing importance in the
selected area.
• As we enter into the area through 10m wide main
road, on the right side HIG housing has been
provided.
• Total 20 numbers of HIG with plush area of 234-374
sq.m has been provided.
• Further the main road on its right has a secondary
road which takes us to the amenities like Indoor Gym,
Basketball Court, Badminton Court, Swimming Pool
and the Garden/ Play area.
• Further the main road having a secondary road takes
us to the MIG Housing area.
• The same secondary road takes us to the Community
Hall which can be accessed through garden area. (The
hall is provided with a huge area of 1246 sq.m with
parking facilities and also access to huge garden
becomes a lifetime rental business for the developer.
• Further the main road turns into a secondary road
taking us to the LIG Housing Area.
• Apart from this the plan consist of 2 huge Water Tanks for
feeding all the residents and also the community hall
during ceremony.
• Electric Power Backup is provided to all the HIG Housing
areas and its optional for MIG & LIG housings.
• Proper drainage facilities have been provided under roads
taking the pipeline and is further connected to the
Municipality Drainage line.
