IV. PROCEDURE
PRELIMINARY Prayer:
ACTIVITIES
1. The teacher will ask a student to lead the prayer.
“Dear Lord,
Thank you, Lord for this new day. We thank you for the
knowledge that we’re going to learn today. Please help us
become your worthy children to glorify you, Amen.”

Greetings:

1. The teacher will greet the students and vice-versa.

“Good morning class!”

Attendance:

1. The teacher will look on the seat plan to check who are not
present.
”Good everybody is present”

Classroom Management:

1. The teacher will remind the rules to be followed during class

hours.
a. Pick up pieces of trash around your seats.
b. When answering, wait for your name to be
called.
c. Take part in class work
d. Learn to listen
Checking of Assignments:

1. The teacher will ask the students to pass their assignments.

Review:

1. The teacher will ask about what the student’s learned on the
previous lesson.

Motivation:
1. The teacher will have the game paint me a picture.

Reading of Objectives:
1. The teacher will ask the class to read the following
objectives:

a. Illustrates triangle congruence

b. Identify the congruent triangle.
A1. ACTIVITY
Activity: By Group

1. The teacher will give a group activity.

Direction: The class will be grouped in two groups. The teacher will
give the scrambled letters and all they have to do is to arrange it to
make a right word and post it on the board. Those words are:
angle, segment, congruent, triangle and triangle congruence.

A2. ANALYSIS Follow Me!

1. The teacher would ask the class the following questions:

a. What have you observe on our activity?

b. For you what is our topic all about?
A3. ABSTRACTION Discussion:
1. The teacher will discuss the following concepts.

CONGRUENT TRIANGLE DEFINITION:

• Triangle – it is a polygon made of three line segments
forming three angles.
- Two triangles are said to be congruent if their
sides have the same length and angles have
same measure. Thus, two angles can be
superimposed side to side and angle to angle.

• Congruent Triangle - two triangles are said to be congruent

if all three corresponding sides are equal and all the three
corresponding angles are equal in measure.
- These triangles can be slides, rotated, flipped and
turned to be looked identical.
- The symbol of congruence is .

5.
VALUING 1. The teacher will ask reflective questions. Question:
a. What have you learn about lesson for today?
b. What if I have two triangles, but when I superimposed
it to the other one they don’t have the same length
and measure. Is it congruent or not?

ASSESSMENT  The teacher will give a short quiz for the students.
Assessing learning Direction: Answer the following questions in a one half crosswise.
Answer the following.

1. What is this symbol “ ?

2. What are these triangles can be slides, rotated, flipped
and turned to be looked identical
3. Give the congruent of the angle.

4. Identify the congruent triangle.

5. Give the congruent segment.

ASSIGNMENT 1. The teacher will give the class an assignment.

Direction: Bring manila paper, ruler, scissor, glue and pencil.
