MỆNH ĐỀ TÍNH TỪ BỔ NGHĨA CHO CẢ CÂU

1. Lý thuyết
Mệnh đề tính từ bổ nghĩa cho cả câu có 3 đặc điểm:
1. Có dấu phẩy “,”
2. chỉ dùng đại từ quan hệ which (điều mà, cái mà)
3. đại từ quan hệ thay thế là số ít
2. Ví dụ
1. Joe got the job. This surprised everybody. (this = điều mà, cái mà)
→ Joe got the job, which surprised everybody. (which = điều mà, cái mà / làm từ nối mệnh đề) ...........
2. Tom was late. That surprised me.
→ Tom was late, which surprised me. ......................................................................................................
3. The elevator is out of order. This is too bad.
→ The elevator is out of order, which is too bad. .....................................................................................
4. So she has repaid the money she borrowed from me. I appreciate that.
→ So she has repaid the money she borrowed from me, which I appreciate. (which = tân ngữ) .............
5. She has promised herself to be on time to work every day. That is a good idea.
6. → She has promised herself to be on time to work every day, which is a good idea. ........................
