IV. PROCEDURES

A. Introduction Activity: SHOW KO TELL MO (review)


Teacher will show pictures related to the History of
Badminton. Students will choose one picture and tell
something about it.

ACTIVITY: GEOMETRICAL SHAPE PUZZLE
The students will identify the geometrical shapes. As
many as they can, the students will draw any facilities
and equipment that they know in Badminton

WHAT IS IT?
What are the uses of the following equipment?

*The proper Grip on how to hold the Racket

FOREHAND/ BACKHAND

* How to used the racket using the forehand stroke

* How to used the racket using the backhand stroke

C. Engagement
The students will find a group that will suits their interest.
The teacher will give a link and in every link there is an
activity that will challenge their acquired skills. The
students will be given 20 minutes to organize their
thoughts and to prepare for the presentation.

NOTE: ALL THE MEMBERS ARE REQUIRED TO


SHOW THEIR OUPUT.

GROUP 1- SHOW ME YOUR MOVES


(KINESTHETIC ACTIVITY)

Students will perform the proper way of handling the


racket seen on the video and the forehand and
backhand use of the racket.
GROUP 2-INFOMERCIAL (LINGUISTIC
ACTIVITY)
Students will make a commercial promoting the
importance of having a good quality racket and how
it will help the athlete in their performance especially
in doing the grip, forehand and backhand stroke.
GROUP 3- SHOW ME THE ANGLE (LOGICAL
ACTIVITY)
Students will identify the launched angle and
trajectory of the shuttle based on the flight of the
shuttle.
GROUP 4- NATURE TRIP (ARTISTIC
ACTIVITY)
Badminton is a game that needs a lot of equipment in
able for you to play it. Using your creative mind and
imagination make a simple racket and shuttle cock
out of the materials available inside or outside your
home. Demonstrate how to use it.

D. Assimilation

1. Each group will present their work based on
their assigned task.

2. Students will give the importance of following


the mechanics on how to used the forehand and
backhand.
