Gas Distribution Screen

Electrostatic Precipitator’s (ESP) operation is affected by the inlet gas and dust conditions as
well as the collecting plate and discharge electrode geometries. For good precipitation results, the
primary flue gas flow should be distributed as evenly as possible within the ESP. Gas velocity must
be reduced to a relatively low level and turbulence must also be controlled before entering the ESP
for a good precipitation.

Hoạt động của Lọc bụi tĩnh điện (ESP) sẽ bị ảnh

hưởng bởi khí đầu vào, tình trạng bụi cũng như hình

dạng của các tấm cực thu và cực phóng. Để có khả

năng thu bụi tốt, lưu lượng khí thải nên được phân bố

đồng đều trong lọc bụi Vận tốc khí phải được giảm đến

một mức độ tương đối thấp và ổn định trước khi vào

ESP.

With regard to this, creating similar gas flow and

tantamount dust condition in each field is very significant.
However, because of difficulty in predicting gas flow quality,
the use of gas distribution screen is necessary.

Vì thế, tạo ra lưu lượng khí và tình trạng bụi giống nhau

trong từng trường là rất quan trọng. Tuy nhiên, do khó khăn

trong việc dự đoán chất lượng của lưu lượng khí, việc sử

dụng tấm chia gió là rất cần thiết.

What is Gas Distribution Screen?

Gas distribution system consists of gas distribution screen and guide vanes. It is used in the
inlet and outlet fields of the ESP. The screen comes with modular design which is manufactured
from steel sheets to be hung within a frame at the inlet and outlet casing area of ESP in order to
create uniform distribution of gas flow throughout the ESP.

Hệ thống chia gió bao gồm tấm chia gió và van điều hướng. Nó được sử dụng đầu vào và đầu

ra của các trường trong lọc bụi. Tấm chia gió đi kèm với thiết kế mô-đun được sản xuất từ thép,

treo ở khung đầu vào và đầu ra của lọc bụi để tạo ra sự phân bố đồng đều ở dòng khí khi vào.

The size and shape of gas distribution screen is varied

according to the geometries of collecting plate and discharge
electrode and the desired resistance to flow of the flue gas,
while in some case the shape and the size of the holes may
also be varied for each single screen in order to adapt to an
unevenness of gas velocity and dust density for different
location so as to improve the uniformity of the resulting gas flow.

Kích thước và hình dạng của tấm chia gió được thay đổi theo các hình dáng khác nhau của tấm

cực thu, cực phóng và điện trở suất của khí thải. Ở một số trường hợp hình dạng và kích thước của

các lỗ trên tấm chia gió cũng có thể được thay đổi cho mỗi ngăn để tương thích với sự không đồng

đều của lưu lương khí và mật độ bụi ở các vị trí khác nhau, từ đó cải thiện tính chất đều trong

chuyển động của dòng khí.

Why is Gas Distribution Screen necessary?

Tại sao tấm chia gió rất quan trọng?

Gas distribution screen plays a vital role to an efficiency of ESP performance. Accordingly,
the flue gas enters the ESP through an inlet and will flow through the gas distribution screen, in
which the gas distribution screen has holes on it so when the gas strike the wall of the screen, the
flue gas is forced to split up evenly through the holes leading to the uniform gas flow to discharge
electrode and collecting plate further on.

Dòng khí đi vào lọc bụi thông qua đầu vào và tiếp theo đi đến tấm chia gió, trên tấm chia gió có lỗ

Also as it is necessary that once the flue gas enters ESP, it must be brought to the velocity that
is best for ESP. Therefore, the use of gas distribution screen can also help slow down the gas
velocity at the inlet area while it is also necessary to control the gas flow at the outlet area with gas
distribution screen to prevent an upstream of the gas velocities.

Đồng thời điều khá quan trọng là khi dòng khí đi vào lọc bụi, nó phải được đưa vào với vận tốc

tốt nhất cho ESP. Do đó, việc sử dụng tấm chia gió sẽ giúp làm chậm tốc độ khí tại khu vực đầu

vào , đồng thời cũng cần thiết cho việc kiểm soát dòng khí tại khu vực đầu ra cùa tấm chia gió để

ngăn chặn tình trạng ngược dòng của vận tốc khí.
