1. Briefly discuss the topic that was presented in the seminar.

There were a lot of things that were discussed in this webinar, but mainly it focuses on the wide range of applications
of 5G technology, especially in the area of Internet of Things. The most influential organizations when it comes to 5G
technologies were also discussed, as well as the makers of the 5G standards. Additionally, the present and future projects
were highlighted and how these could affect the community in the future.

2. Based on the seminar, what are the current critical issues and their relevance to the engineering profession?

As mentioned at the seminar, one of the issues is the lack of technological advancements in our country. Only few
organizations in our country uses 5G technology compared to other countries worldwide. It is important to know the advantage
of 5G technologies so that we, as future engineers, will be able to help in the development of our own country when it comes
to technologies since everything around us are continuously becoming “high-tech”.

3. Based on the seminar, what are the appropriate engineering solutions to address the effect of the current critical issues?

The important thing to consider to address this issue is to be able to join the pace in the advancements of
technologies. As future engineers, we should be knowledgeable and skillful enough to contribute greatly in these
developments, especially in Internet of Things which has a wide range of technological possibilities. We should learn how to
innovate and not iterate past projects in order to catch up with these technological trends.

4. Provide a conclusion/recommendation on the seminar.

The seminar went smoothly. I learned about the 5G technologies, the relevance and future effects of Internet of
Things (IoT) and how these were able to help in the development of community now and in the future.
