Check Leveling:
Fly Leveling :
Station B.S F.S Reduce Height of Instr Remarks
Level Rise Fall
A 7.24 100 B-M
B 3.12 104.12 4.12 E-P
Now, we have to make stairs plan using the data from above profile leveling.
We take the riser = 6 inches.
We divide the profile distance into 3 segments
Distance from 0 - 40 = 40 ft
Distance from 40-80= 40 ft
Distance from 80- 97= 17 ft
The height of 1st segment = 6.02 ft = 72.24 inches
The height of 2nd segment = 7.3ft = 87.6 inches
The height of 3rd segment = 0.51 ft = 6.21 inches
No of steps = 166.05/ 6
= 27.675
= 28 steps Approx.
Tread is given by = Total distance / No of steps
= 1167/ 27.675
= 42.2 inches
Conclusion:
In this task we perform the profile leveling to identify the elevation
points or reduce levels with respect to datum.
We take the distance 0 on profile and take the readings of inter sights
along with 2.5 , 5 ft right or left.
As we move forward to 10 ft distance perform the same previous
steps.
At change, point we take total 9 readings and move forward.
We take the Foresight at the end point .
By using this data we plan the stairs profile which involve the height ,
distance, riser, tread.
