BIG BRAIN GAME

I. CANDIDATES:
A. PRIMARY 1 : 3 Students from each class (3 students x 3 classes = 9 Students)
B. PRIMARY 2 : 5 Students from each class (5 students x 2 classes = 10 students)
C. PRIMARY 3 : 4 Students from each class (4 students x 2 classes = 8 students)
D. PRIMARY 4 : 5 Students
E. PRIMARY 5 : 5 Students
F. SECONDARY 1 : 5 Students
G. SECONDARY 2 : 5 Students
II. QUESTIONS
In this game, teachers will provide some questions from math, science and general
knowledge.
III. MECHANISMS
This game will be played in 3 sessions, elimination I, elimination II and elimination III.
A. ELIMINATION I
 All the candidates will get the same questions in the same time.
 All the candidates will answer the question by lifting their answer paper up
together as the teacher instruction.
 Students who do not answer the question correctly will be eliminated.

B. ELIMINATION II

 All the candidates who passed the first elimination have chance to join
elimination 2.
 Teacher will show the numbers (each number contains of different question)
 Each candidates will choose the number in turn (Each candidates have two
opportunities to choose and answer the questions).
 Teacher will show the question based on the number chosen.
 Candidate will answer the question but if she/he cannot, the question will be given
to another.
C. ELIMINATION III

In this session, teacher will provide 10 questions

 All the candidates who passed the second elimination have chance to join
elimination 3.
 Teacher will read the question to all candidates
 The candidates who can answer the question will raise their hands. The fastest one
will be chosen to answer the question
 Student who get the highest score will be a winner
IV. NOTE
If any student has the same score after elimination III, then teacher will give 5 extra
questions to determine the winner.
SPEECH

I. CANDIDATES:
 PRIMARY 5 : 3 Students
 SECONDARY 1 : 3 Students
 SECONDARY 2 : 3 Students
II. MECHANISMS
 Teacher will give the theme of speech :
- Sangkara’s anniversary
- Bullying
 Students will choose the theme then write their own speech.
 They just have 2 – 3 minutes to present their speech.

III. INDICATORS
 Content
 Expression
 Articulation
 Gestures
 Pronounciation.

NOTE : Student who get the highest score will be a winner for each class
