The book 'Advertising' has been written keeping in view the CBCS Syllabus of B.Com. (Hons.) and

About the Author
Dr.Ruchi Gupta is an experienced educator, currently working as an Assistant
Professor at ShaheedBhagat Singh College, University of Delhi. A commerce
graduate from the highly acclaimed Shri Ram College of Commerce, she
obtained her M.Com. and M.Phil. degrees from Delhi School of Economics,
University of Delhi. Thereafter, she obtained her doctoral degree in commerce,
having worked in the area of advertising. She has also completed a certified
online course on Strategic Social Media Marketing from Boston University,
USA.
Dr Gupta has presented her research papers in the field of marketing and advertising at many Indian
and international forums. Many of her research papers have been published in journals of national
and international repute, and are cited by many across the globe. She was the Conference Chair and
Keynote Speaker at an international conference organised at the Queen's College, University of
Oxford, UK in 2018. She has chaired sessions at some prominent national and international
conferences (at Slovenia, Oxford and France) and is associated in different capacities with many
institutes and bodies of repute including the European Advertising Academy and the European
Marketing Academy. Her research papers have won Best Paper Awards at some renowned
conferences. Dr.Ruchi Gupta is the recipient of ICBM-AMP Academic Excellence Award 2017
