2.3 Application (20 mins)

A. The teacher will show the students an example of hieroglyphs


inspired artwork for their 1st plate (offline activity).
B. The teacher will show a video showing the process of applying coffee
to paper. This will be used as base for their artwork.

2.4 Values Integration (5 mins.)


Being open to new ideas helps us to widen our imagination. Being
imaginative can help us inspire others.1-2 students will be asked to share
their experience and learnings from the discussion.

2.5 Closure (5 mins.)


The teacher will ask 1 or 2 students to share their thoughts with the following

3. Offline/Online Learning Activities (Assignment)
● Create a picture journal of an event in your life using your own
version of hieroglyph.
● You will need the following materials for this plate:
-bond paper (short or long) or Oslo paper
-any drawing materials
-any coloring materials
-coffee mixed with a bit of water
-paintbrush or cotton
● Take photos of the process of your artwork. (minimum of 3 photos
maximum of 6 photos)
● Take a photo yourself with the artwork.
● Take a photo of your artwork alone.
● Compile and layout the following into a page.

● Write a rationale about your artwork typed on another page guided


with the following questions:

3. Why did you choose the certain event for this artwork? What are the
