3. INSTALLATION
A. Open the shipping box, and then remove the Console, Interconnecting Cables and
other furnished parts.
B. Remove the HFG from the shipping pallet and place it near to its site in the room.
At least two people are required for this operation.
C. When the HFG is unpacked, check the part numbers and serial numbers of
each component with its identification labels, and inspect all pieces for visible damage.
If any damaged parts are found, repair or order replacements to prevent
unnecessary delay in installation.
D. Remove the HFG covers for cable connections.
C. Verify that the power supply line is “OFF” in the room electrical cabinet.
D. The power supply line should be according to the HFG model defined
in the “Pre-Installation ” document.

G. High Voltage Cables
- Anode and Cathode cables are furnished according to the room layout.
- Assemble the mounting accessories of each termination plug following the cable manufacturer’s
instruction.
- Prepare the high voltage terminals that will be installed in the X-ray Tube receptacles.
Apply silicone paste over the entire surface of the plug including the pins.
- Carefully connect the Anode and Cathode cables from the HV Transformer (High Voltage Tank)
into the respective X-ray Tube receptacles. Insure that all connections are made correctly,
maintaining correct Anode and Cathode orientation. Tighten the cable nuts securely.
- Carefully connect the Anode and Cathode cables from X-ray tube into the respective
HV Transformer receptacles. Insure that all connections are made correctly, maintaining correct
Anode and Cathode orientation.
- Route the stator cable together with the HV cable to the HFG.
- Connect the stator cable terminals to the indicated terminal block TB 502 on Interface Board.
Table 3-3.
Make sure that stator wires are properly connected. Before making any exposure,
check that the anode rotates correctly.
- If the X-ray tube is provided with the Temperature switch signal, the cable should be routed to the
terminal block TB 502 of Interface Board in the HFG and connected to the following terminals
Table 3-4.
- If an X-ray tube is not provided with thermostat signal, jump both connections in the terminal blocks
TB 502.
- Connect the stator cable terminals to the indicated terminal block CN 506 on Interface Board.
- Make sure that stator wires are properly connected. Before making any exposure,
check that the anode rotates correctly.
- If the X-ray tube is provided with the Temperature switch signal, the cable should be routed to the
terminal block TB 502 of Interface Board in the HFG and connected to the following terminals.
- If an X-ray tube is not provided with thermostat signal, jump both connections in the terminal blocks
TB 502.

9. OVER Indicator
In manual mode or APR mode, the LED lights up when selected exposure factors are too high.
Exposure is prohibited when the light is on. Reduce technique factors to clear the error light.
In AEC mode this light blinks to indicate ‘AEC back up mAs’ was reached.
Pressing the ‘Conversion’ button will clear the error.
15. Selection
Sets the view orientation (AP, lateral, etc). LED displays the selected direction.

16. Selection Buttons of a Patient Size and Display
These buttons select patient size. An LED lights up to indicate selection.
And in that case of APR Exposure condition revision, store it.
* It is prohibited under DENSITY≠0, and OVER Display on to store APR Exposure condition.
Note : They are also used in saving changed to the APR. See User manual for
details.

As the mA setting is fixed, make exposure with selecting other conditions such as kV•mAs/sec
and check the movement of calibration data. When the exposure condition exceeds the
capacity, the ‘over’ LED is lighted on. While the light is turned on, exposure of x-ray is forbidden.
In case of rearrangement after x-ray exposure, operate the data setting again with conversion
button and return the exposure monitor to calibration monitor.
- How to end the calibration mode
Turn it off with power off button and the position will return to the DIP SW mode before the start
