BEGINNING

Good morning to each and every one, it is my pleasure to be your host for
this webinar. I’m Jaffy Bustamante and On- behalf of the BSES On-the-Job
Trainees I would like to extend a very warm welcome to all of you. We appreciate
you taking time off your busy schedules to join us today’s OpenStreetMap
Workshop featuring our OJT trainees and our partner organization MapBeks
spearheaded by our supervisor Sir Mikko Tamura. We hope you will learn a lot
today, we have lined-up for you to be fruitful and engaging.

A demonstration and explanation on how to create an account in OSM and

map buildings will be provided. I am confident that this event will provide you
with additional knowledge and a platform to contribute and assist society in
mapping and representing the real world on a smaller scale, as well as assisting you
in organizing information.

Prayer

May I invite every one to invoke the Almighty. We would like to start this
program a prayer to be led by Ms. Erica Interior, to be followed by the Introduction
of our Speaker for today’s program.

To begin this program, we are pleased to have Ms. Ericka Paculanan to

introduce our speaker for today.

Ice breaker

Let's make this program a little livelier by answering some ice breaker
questions before we move on to the next half of the event. I'm sure you're all
excited since the winners will receive cash awards. Best of luck!

Demonstration and Tutorial

Let's get right to the point of this program. As I stated in my introduction,

this event will undoubtedly assist and benefit you. Ms. Klarisa Natividad and Mr.
Noel Angelo Binuya, OJT Trainees, are here to assist our rookies on how to make
an account and how to map buildings in OSM and tasking manager.

One on One Tutorial (Breakout Rooms)

Thank you for exhibiting some simple steps on how to create an account and
map buildings using our platform, Mr. Binuya and Ms. Natividad. Ladies and
gentlemen, we'll move on to the "One on One Tutorial (Breakout Rooms)" part of
our program, which will feature you and our OJT trainees. May I call Sir Mikko
Tamura, our supervisor, to provide further information.

Mapathon competition

I hope that our OJT trainees shares some technique and help you on how to
create and digitized buildings, because we will move to our next competition the
"Mapathon Competition". This competition is one of the highlights of our program
wherein each of the participants will compete and won some cash prizes.

Instruction:

1. Sa loob ng 30 minutes magpaparamihan kayo ng magagawa or

madigitized na buildings.
2. Paalala na habang nagdi digitized ng buildings since 30 mins lamang
gawin lahat ng makakaya.
3. Bago matapos ang 30 mins kailangan mai save at upload po ninyo ang
inyong mga magagawa.
4. Kung sakaling naubos na ang 30 mins na palugit at may mga bahay pa
kayong nakikita hayaan niyo na lamang po ito at i-save na lamang ang
inyong mga nagawa buildings. Huwag niyo pong pindutin ang “YES”
kung may mga natira bang bahay instead “NO” lamang po ang pindutin.
5. Ang maswerteng mananalo ay makakakuha ng 350 Pesos na Prizes
samantalang nagturong OJT Trainee sa kaniya ay makakakuha ng 150
Pesos.

Closing Remarks

Thank you to everyone who took part in our competition. Later, we will
notify the lucky winner of the 350 pesos prize. We are nearing the end of our
program, and we are grateful to have you all here, but before, let us all listen to our
very own professor, Mr. Wesley S. Gagarin, give his final remarks.
