 INTRODUCTION

The safest way to deal fire is to prevent it. Fire prevention strategy awareness

can reduce the extremity fire damage if in case a particular area will experience one.

Every area must have strategies to prevent fire incident or coping fire incident that can

caused damage to the life and property of a person. Houses, establishments, buildings

and other properties are the possible points where may instigate. Thus,

abovementioned spots must have prevention strategies to prevent fire to happen.

Under Section 19 of the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005, every

employer shall identify hazards, assess risk and have a written risk assessment,

including any unusual or other risks. It must for the employer to conduct risk

assessment to execute the fire prevention.

The fire has three elements in order for it to start. To ensure that the fire will not

be provoke or spread, one element must be destroyed or removed. The safety of the

majority must be always secured to ensure that no casualty will be reported, be it a

property or a life of a person.

METHOD
Design and Procedure

This study will use qualitative research design; it generates descriptive

procedures to understand this study. It involves observation and it relies to the direct

experience of the human being. This study is conducted to assess the fire prevention

strategies in Davao City and it more focus on language rather than numerical.

The Respondents of the Study

The respondents of the study is the people from Davao City, respondents is the

resident of Davao City. The participation of the people in Davao City will be remained

confidential and it is an act of willingness.

The respondents considered in this study will be 100 people residing in Davao

City. It will be 50 girls and 50 boys and a total of 100 respondents, and all of the

respondents will surely residing from Davao City.

Research Instrument

The researchers will observe, interview and have documentation analysis to

collect data that needs in the study. The researchers will use observation and interview

to collect relevant information.
