Dear Saleh,

Whilst it is appreciated that the TOC for the Works has been issued and further to the ongoing testing and
commissioning activities; in light of the recent rainfall events, and as an improvement to the Sequence of Operation
(SOP) of SDP-West pumping station, MAK are kindly requested to update the SOP (with all necessary modifications,
configuration updates and validation) so that it is based on 4 pumps acting + 1 pump standby instead of 5 pumps
acting, noting that the standby pump will only start in the event any of the acting pumps fail to start and at no time
more than 4 pumps will be operational simultaneously. Please note the attached SDP-West level-assignment sheet
marked-up in green.

A formal Instruction shall be issued in due course but your immediate cooperation will be appreciated.

Khodr Sobh
