AIM:
To construct a wiring circuit for a single lamp and a fan with regulator
OBJECTIVES:
• To build a wiring circuit for lamp and fan (motor) in Tinkercad and verify the working
condition in simulation.
• To build a wiring circuit for a single lamp and a fan with regulator in real time and
verify the working condition practically.
APPARATUS REQUIRED:
TOOLSREQUIRED:
Screw driver, wire stripper, hacksaw, combination plier, drilling machine, electrician knife.
PRECAUTIONS:
1. Connections should be made properly.
2. Tools should be used carefully.
3. Avoid loose fitting and connections.
PROCEDURE:
1. Mark switch, fan, regulator and bulb location points and draw lines for wiring
on the wooden board.
2. Place wires along the lines and fix them with the help of clamps.
3. Fix the switches, regulator, fan and bulb holder in the marked positions on the
wooden board.
4. Complete the wiring as per the wiring diagram.
5. Test the working of the bulb and fan by giving electric supply to the circuit.

Instructions
• visit www.tinkercad.com
• login using vit mail id under educators
• choose circuits
• create new circuit
• The experiment is performed through online in tinkercad.
Procedure:
• Positive of the power supply is connected to switch through multi-meter.
• Negative of the power supply is connected to bulb and motor
• If we want to see the voltage waveform CRO should be connected across the
bulb/motor
• Switches are closed one by one and the current is measured by multi-meter
Simulation:
Off-condition:
Bulb-on and Fan-off condition
INFERENCE:
After making proper wiring for a fan and bulb with switch the respective switches are turned
on to their working conditions
• When the first switch alone turned on the bulb started to glow
• When the both of the switches are turned on both fan and bulb started to work.
RESULT:
The wiring for a fan and bulb is made using Thinkercad software and the current and voltage across
components are measured and verified
