high velocity recessed type. Air curtain shall be suitable to use upto 3.5 Meter height
from discharge diffuser to the finished floor level to get the specified performance.
Double-inlet centrifugal fans shall be provided driven by an external rotor motor and
low noise level. Blower / impeller shall be of composite material. Maximum air
velocity at nozzle shall be 11 M/s. Noise level shall be limited to 55 dBA maximum at a
distance of 3 meter form the air curtains. Electricity characteristics for air curtains shall
be 230 Volts/ 1Phase / 50Hz. Motor shall be of higher energy efficiency
(IE3/equivalent ) which incorporates power transmission and shall be provided with 3
speed control models assembled with very low consumption efficiency fans. Inlet grille
32 (free of maintenance) made with aluminium profiles and blow-out nozzle, integrated
in a single frame. Unit should be provided with wall bracket for ease installation.
Bottom of air curtain shall be liaised with interfacing contractor during combined
service drawings or Reflected ceiling plan drawings to match with false ceiling tile
level. The Contractor shall provide support framework to fix / install air curtain. All
support material shall be of hot dip galvanised steel. Vibration isolator pad shall be
provided to minimise the noise level. All hardware such as bolts, screws, nuts and
washers shall be made of electro plated galvanized material. Minimum 1 no. of return
air grille shall be provided for each air curtain in order to have a free suction path. The
machines shall be compatible for the following door widths. The senosrs associated
with the operation of blower shall be considered along with this line item and shall not
be considered seperately .

1. For all the AC/ Ventilation equipment power cabling and containment from the nearest isolator/ socket to the equipment is in HVAC contractor’s scope. The cabling shall be of suitable rating
and as per OEM recommendation.
2. Any associated civil work shall be in civil contractor’s scope.
3. Any scaffolding works shall be in civil contractor’s scope.
4. All control and / or communication cabling shall be considered along with applicable items and will be in HVAC contractor’s scope.

5. Body earthing of applicable equipment shall be in electrical contractor’s scope

6. In the BOQ, The indocated cappacities of units are design cappacities. It may be prodect specific, incase of inavailability, select next size available in the product range of the particular made.
