SCIENCE GRADE FOUR

Performance Task #1 – Making Human Skeleton Model

I. Objectives: Through this activity, the students should be able to:

1. Make a model of the human skeleton
2. Identify and label correctly the different bones in the human skeleton
3. Demonstrate diligence and creativity in doing their tasks

II. Materials:
• 1 long folder, or cartolina
• scissors
• glue or paste
• coloring materials

III. Procedures:
1. Download and print out the Activity Sheet - Bones of the human skeleton.
2. Cut-out the pictures of each bone.
3. Connect the bones correctly. Each bone should be placed in its proper location.
4. Glue or paste them together to make a human skeleton on a long folder or cartolina.
5. Color nicely your human skeleton.
6. Label the following bones: skull, clavicle, sternum, vertebrae, rib, humerus, pelvis, patella,
femur, phalanges
7. Take a clear screen shot of your Human Skeleton Model.
8. Do not do your task in advance. This will be done synchronously during our Zoom classes on
Wednesday, September 07, 2022
9. Submit the screen shot of your work in your Science Course on or before September 14, 2022
