seals, and assisting the stranding technicians
with day-to-day duties around the facility.

Mammal Stranding Center (Jan. 2023 to
May 2023)
Assisted with the maintenance and facilitation of
the stranding center while fulfilling roles such as
cleaning ICU pens, preparing medicine and food
for seals in rehab, working pool pumps to
transfer water to and from the pool into pens and
from the bay, assisted in the training of interns,
and assisted in stranding responses of marine
mammals. In this position, I acquired experience
in training and supervising individuals, as well
as maintaining the facility independently.
- Camp Counselor, Hazlet Recreation
Summer Camp (June 2022 to August 2023)
My responsibilities included supervising and
guiding kids through group games and activities
while working together as a team to ensure the
safety and stability of my group. I also prepared
activities for the camp before it began and
cleaned up after camp was finished. I
coordinated activities and encouraged campers
to participate and communicate together to
formulate bonds amongst peers in a friendly
environment.

Activities
Throughout my time at Stockton University, aside from academics I have spent a large amount
of time learning Judo through Stockton's club sports program and partaking in leadership with a
secretary position in Stockton’s Disney Association club. In my time as secretary, I have gained
more experience with communication as a team and organizing as well as planning ideas and
events. The Disney Association allowed me to gain a very rewarding experience volunteering at
Give Kids the World Village to assist children in need. Stockton’s Judo club has given me the
opportunity to hone my leadership skills and discipline as well as expanding my knowledge and
ways of thinking in quick situations.
