I. Project Title:

“ PROJECT SAFE: KAALAMAN NG MGA MAGULANG, KALIGTASAN NG MGA KABATAAN”

II. Project Proponent:

This project is headed only by the School Disaster Risk Reduction Management Officers
(SDRRMO) and School Watching Team Officers (SWTO).

III. Project Rationale:

Strengthening disaster prevention, mitigation and preparedness is one of the key

strategies to address the wholeness of every individual in preparing and be aware in any
circumstances that happens nowadays). The SDRRM officers and School Watching Team
of Makalangot High School would conduct the School Disaster Awareness Activity to our
Parents Teachers Association (PTA). This activity will help, guide and remind our parents
to be aware and alert of any calamities that happens such that flood and typhoon, waste
management and sanitation, fire and earthquake that will strike anytime and anywhere.

IV. Project Objectives:

 Expose SWT in different environmental activities;

 Expose parents in different environmental issues and activities.
 Encourage parents to participate and cooperate in preparing and be alert in any
calamities that happen;
 Develop among parents and community the proper environmental values, skills and
attitudes.

V. Project Description:

This project-activity will be accomplished through the help and active participation of
SDRRM Coordinator and School Watching Team Officers and members headed by
Denmark Adrian E. Rebojo – SDRRM School Watching Team President, teachers and
students. Our financial assistance will be given by our Barangay Local Government Unit
(BLGU). The SWT officers will invite our Parents Teachers Association (PTA) as a
participants of the said activity. The team will invite speaker to give insight and
knowledge about the concern of this activity. Prizes and certificates will be given to the
participants and persons involve.
 VI. Project Duration:

The activity will be done on June 29, 2023 at 7:00 A.M. (Thursday)

VII. Target Beneficiaries:

The PTA, teachers and also members will benefit the said activity and program.

VIII. Proposed Budgets:

The only expenses: foods ( merienda & lunch), gifts and certificates of the participants.
The budget for this is estimated at Php 10,000.00.

IX. Monitoring and Evaluation:

The project will be over all managed by the School Disaster Risk Reduction Management
Coordinator (SDRRMC), School Watching Team (SWT) and in partnership of the barangay
council.
