ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT ON THE 2022 OPLAN BALIK ESKWELA

There’s more to education than just reading and writing. It is also about experience, environment, socialization, and
communication.

In line with the DepEd Memorandum No. 063 s. 2022 or the conduct of the 2022 Oplan Balik Eskwela (OBE)
implementation for School Year 2022-2023 shall formally implement the activity starting from August 15-26, 2022 with
the theme: Kapit-Bisig Para sa Mas Ligtas na Balik-Aral.

With this, Talakag National High School have organized Oplan Balik Eskwela Committee to address the enrolment-related
concerns, queries, and other issues encountered that the learners are properly enrolled and able to attend the first day
of classes.

Talakag National High School also provides their hotlines to receive calls, text messages, emails, requests, suggestions
from parents, students and other concerned citizens.

August 22, 2022, the School Year 2022-2023 formally opens. The Department of Education expressed the readiness to
start the new school year under the “New Normal Education”. As Talakag National High School welcomes the learners,
the school sees the implementation of necessary health and safety protocols. Learners were required to wear face masks
at all times, alongside handwashing and other hygienic practices, as safety directives for all public and private schools
nationwide.

Talakag National High School opens the new school year last August 22, 2022 with almost 3000 learners in attendance.
They are welcomed by the School Principal, Samuel B. Quijardo, Ph.D together with the faculty and staff of Talakag
National High School. In attendance are members of the Philippine National Police (Talakag) who assisted in the raising of
the Philippine Flag during the flag ceremony.

Earlier that day, the Assistant Schools Division Superintendent Audie S. Borres visits the school to ensure the readiness of
the school to welcome its learners.

The opening of the new school year was a success and TNHS-OBE Committee continues to implement other activities
related to Oplan Balik Eskwela 2022.
