Trợ Động Từ và Động Từ Tobe

A- Trợ Động Từ : DO/ DOES

- Ở thì HTĐ, “Do” và “Does” dùng trong câu phủ định(có not) và câu hỏi

- chỉ đi kèm với động từ thường(V)

-“Do” dành cho chủ ngữ số nhiều

- “Does” dành cho chủ ngữ số ít

 Phân biệt chủ ngữ số nhiều và số ít:

Chủ ngữ số nhiều Chủ ngữ số ít

- I, you, we, they, people, children - He, she, it
- các danh từ số nhiều( thường có s ở - các danh từ không có s ở cuối: house,
cuối): houses, boys, cats,.. sister, brother,…
- số lượng từ 2 trở lên: two students, three - số lượng 1: one dog, a tree, an ice-
dogs…. cream,..
- tên riêng: tên người, thành phố, quốc
gia,…

 Cấu trúc

Phủ định( not) S + donot/does not+ V

Nghi vấn(?) Do/ Does +S +V?

*CHÚ Ý: Do và does chỉ đi với động từ thường(V)

B- Động từ Tobe

- Động từ tobe ở thì HTĐ dùng để giới thiệu bản thân, nhắc đến 1 địa điểm hoặc tính chất,
trạng thái của 1 người, sự vật, sự việc nào đó ở thời điểm hiện tại

- có 3 dạng động từ tobe dùng cho các chủ ngữ (S) khác nhau

1. Cách dùng:

 Dùng để chỉ thói quen lặp lại hàng ngày, một sự thật hiển nhiên
2. Dấu hiệu

3. Cấu trúc

Khẳng định S + V(s/es)

Phủ định S + donot/does not + V
Nghi vấn Do/Does + S +V?
- Yes, S + do/does
- No, S + do not/ does not

* Chú ý:

 Chủ ngữ số nhiều: V giữ nguyên

 Chủ ngữ số ít: V thêm “s” hoặc “es”
+ thêm “es” với các từ kết thúc bằng : o,s,x,z,ch,sh

+ thêm “s”: còn lại
