Dear Mr. Brendan Greene,

I am a student at Maputo International School who appreciates and always fascinated on one
of your game goes by the name of PUBG Mobile also known as Player Unknown's
Battlegrounds. I am writing this letter to look forward to the creator of PUBG Mobile, Mr.
Brendan Greene if you may take consideration of my request that I will be stating at the end of
my letter.

At the outset, PUBG mobile has improve my coordination, attention, concentration, and multi-
tasking ability. This game has taught me so many valuable skills of what a true soldier can do in
a battlefield, it also taught me many war tactics for instance: how to ambush your preys,
surprise attack, sneaking behind your predators and so many. Nevertheless, this game has
taught something even more valuable that, is that you should respect your team because you
and your team will depend on each other’s back and never betray someone especially your
own partner. There are lots of other skills that this taught me but I am going to summarize it.
Video games play an important role in escaping from daily life problems. After a hectic day,
this makes me refresh. This is a temporary escape from my daily life problems. It always keeps
me entertained, concentrated, and everything.

In PUBG you have to land fast to survive. This landing needs skills because to land fast you
need to apply math. This sounds ridiculous but this is true. For instance, to land within 750
meters in the ‘Erangel map’, you need to jump from a plane at a speed of 234 meters per
second while in other maps this number varies. Apart from landing, to win chicken dinner you
need to apply many strategies and skills. These develop problem solving skills in real life. This
game enhances memory as in this game you need to remember places and also audio to which
direction the enemies can be. In the map, you will get the signal of the enemies. This signal
varies from a distance and also color changes due to distance. This enhances one’s memory.
To survive in this game, you need some skills and you have to be very fast. If your reflex is slow
then you can’t survive in this game. This improves brain speed. As you can talk to your
teammates, so you need to co-operate with them to win. This improves my social skills.
Now onto my request. While I enjoy the game, I also find the prices of items exorbitant. Let
me give some examples: The PlayerUnknown Costume Set cost about $1,800, Reaper Mask
charge $366.41, The Olive Branch - Pan charge $1,781.86 and Red Hi-top Trainers cost around
$380.31, additionally there are other items that is ridiculously high-priced. The reason why I
am requesting Mr. Brendan Greene if possible, reduce the expensive item’s prices; is that
other people could be in the gap of digital divide and they would not find it fair as they might
not have a good investment, or could be living in a poor living area and etc. These people
would love the game if the charges are affordable for instance $10-$20 should be an average
of prices of the items as reducing the costs increases profitability. Increasing revenue can
result in higher costs and lower profit margins. Although, I do not blame you that cutting costs
can result in diminished sales and also lower profit margins if market share is lost over time.
Nonetheless, I am only requesting if could reduce the pries that is affordable by the users
which an increase the users of the platform and I can suggest some ideas how the industry can
earn their revenue from Monetization; such as Advertisements, Paid Sponsorships, Affiliates,
Channel Membership, Patronage and even Merchandise. I would highly appreciate if Mr.
Brendan Greene will take consideration of my request and I would be delightful to wait for
your respond.
