Who am I - CLC

My 16personalities test resulted in the defender personality. ISFJ-T; Introverted,

observant, feeling, judging, and turbulent. Defenders are often humble, hardworking, reliable
and generous people. Their attention to detail, well-developed people skills, and selfless-ness
makes them suited for careers in customer service, social work, therapy and law. These careers
aline perfectly with my interests; I currently work in customer service at a restaurant and I am
considering going into either law or psychology as my full time career. I have worked at my
current job at milestones for two years. I got hired at fourteen and since then I have been
promoted three times, achived star of the week on multiple occasions and even earned a raise in
January. In one of my star of the week write ups, my managers described me as the girl that can
do it all, with an unmatched intensity and an astounding attention to detail; much like described
in the personality test. The description matches me in almost every way, however, I consider
myself to be humble at times, but I have also learned how to stick up for myself and advocate for
my hard work. I was frustrated with not being reconized at my job and I took the initiative to
plan and research how to respectfully ask for a raise to acknowledge my above and beyond work
ethic. I was successful in my request, further enstating my invaubleness to the team at
milestones.

In addition, defenders are described as thoughtful and geneous people. This translates
into my life aswell. I love giving gifts to my love ones or sending messages to check in on people
that are important to me and I often will drop something I’m doing to support a friend in need.
Despite having robust social skills, defenders keep a close-knit group of friends and value
deeper connections build over a long period of time. Defenders secretly long to be liked and
accepted by people and tend to be people pleasers. I have always had a small but meaningful
group of friends and being a people pleaser has often lead to me being taken atvantage of in
previous friendships. This aligns with the weaknesses of a defender; Too altruistic. Along with
that, they tend to repress their feelings, take things personally and are reluctant to change. All
things that relate to me. I can be a extremely sensitive person at times and I tend overthink
situations for days if not weeks which often leads to immense anxiety, which I supress until I can
any longer.

Overall, almost everything stated in the personality test relates to me in every aspect of
life. This gives me insight into spotting and dealing with my weaknesses and capitalising on my
strengths. Such as, noticing when I’m being taken advantage of or not getting the recognition I
may deserve and knowing my strengths will hopefully assist me into the career I want to go into.
