BAC RESOLUTION DECLARING SHOPPING AS ALTERNATIVE MODE OF PROCUREMENT and

RECOMMENDING APPROVAL

WHEREAS, the Sabangan Elementary School has appropriated for the Procurement of Other Supplies under
Shopping Section as mode of procurement with an Approved Budget for the Contract (ABC) amounting Fourteen
Thousand Eight Hundred Eighty Three Pesos only (P14,883.00)

WHEREAS, Section 52 of the Revised Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of R.A. 9184 otherwise known as
the Government Procurement Reform Act 2009, allows as agency to resort to shopping:

WHEREAS, further, section 52. La of the Revised IRR of RA 9184 allows an agency to resort to Shopping when there
is unforeseen contingency requiring immediate purchase and the amount involved does not exceed the thresholds
prescribed in Annex H OF THE REVISED IRR in the amount of FIFTY THOUSAND PESOS (P50,00.00) for NGAs, GOCCs,
GFIs, and SUCs.

WHEREFORE: for and in consideration of foregoing premises, and upon motion of CATALINA ANTONIA Y. FERRER,
and duly seconded, the BAC Resolves, as it is hereby resolved to recommend “Shopping Section” as the mode of
procurement.

NOW, THEREFORE, WE, the Members of the Bids and Awards Committee, hereby RESOLVE:

a) To recommend “Shopping Section” as Mode of Procurement

b) To recommend for the approval by the Head of Agency (Principal) of Sabangan Elementary School.
