10. Recommended workplace precautions / RCS


Only authorized, experienced and qualified person will carry out this activity, Method statement to be
followed. All workers who involved in this activity must be trained properly.Slippery; obstructive floors shall
not be permitted on site. Ensure operatives physical fitness for undertaking strenuous works.
Foreman/Supervisors must ensure adequacy of access and egress prior to the commencement of work.
The areas to be barricaded and warning signs displayed. Empty chemical containers should be disposed
accordance with local effluent regulations. In case of leak repair work should be done only after the
system has been depressurized. Ensure the material safety data sheets will be readily available at site
stores and working area for reference of first aid procedures. Ensure suitable fuses and overloads are
fitted.
