Ask: How old are you when you notice some changes in your body? Do you have some
questions raised in your mind that you are afraid to ask? Are you curious of what
happens in your body?

practicing new  Penis: external male sex organ
skills #2 - Circumcised: removes some or all of foreskin
- Uncircumcised: foreskin not removed
 Scrotum: sac of skin and muscle containing testicles
 Testes- produce sperm, also known as the testicle and gonads
Duct System
 Vas Deferens-transport mature sperm to the urethra.
 Epididymis- sperm mature in epididymis.
 Seminal Vesicles- attach to vas deferens, produce a sugar rich fluid that provide
energy to sperm.
 Prostate gland- makes fluid
 Urethra- the tube that carries urine from the bladder to the outside of the body,
also carries sperm out of the body.

 Female Reproductive Organ

 Vagina- canal that joins the cervix to the outside of the body.
 Uterus- hollow the organ that is the home to the developing fetus.
 Ovaries- produce egg and hormones, oval-shaped glands that are located on either
side of the uterus.
 Fallopian Tubes-tunnels for the egg cell to travel from the ovaries to the uterus,
fertilization happens.
 Cervix- cylinder-shaped neck of tissue the connects vagina and uterus
 Fertilization- male + female
