C. Teaching Learning Activities

1. For me, I don't agree with the conflict theory that the school teaches loyalty so that those in
power stay in power and those below stay at the bottom forever because studying is not for
power but an honor to graduate students to establish the demands of the future. The school
exists to help us grow in our careers. While it is true that the school teaches loyalty, we can
observe that a worker's position at work advances as a result of his loyalty.
2. This implies that when we get along with other people, our perspectives and opinions on things
may change. It assists us in becoming more adaptable and shifting from a negative to a
positive mindset. How other individuals present their experiences to others may provide
meaning to others, allowing them to change, and from that experience, we can gain ideas to
improve things.

E. Lets Reflect
1. Words can be a source of confusion at times because incorrect word structure might result in
misunderstanding between two people.
2. It's also often confusing how a person uses words; the meaning changes when it comes to
other people, which is frequently the root of the confusion.
3. If we examine closely, we may see that the root of misunderstanding is not the words
themselves, but how individuals use them.
4. The misunderstanding begins with man, because it is a man who utilizes words, begins
speaking words, and expresses the content of his words.
5. We can say that there is truth in the symbolic-interactionist theory that words are the source of
misunderstanding because it results in the occasional misunderstanding of people, but to
summarize, none of the words are the reason why there is a misunderstanding, because I
believe the misunderstanding occurs because of how the speaker conveys the word.
F. ASSESSMENT / ASSIGNMENT : Taking it to the Net
1. FUNCTIONALIST THEORY:
 Schools are sources of change and innovation; they adapt to meet societal
needs, provide knowledge, and act as keepers of knowledge.
 It teaches pupils how to behave, function, and navigate society. Pupils are taught
age-appropriate topics and build their knowledge as they go through education.
They learn and develop an understanding of their own identities and opinions
and society's rules and norms, which are influenced by a value consensus.
2. CONFLICT THEORY:
 Schools tend to teach people how to be good and docile workers. Very rarely do
young people leave their compulsory schooling with the aspiration to be an
entrepreneur or self-employed.
3. SYMBOLIC INTERACTION THEORY

 Low standardized test scores or poor performance in a particular class often lead
to a student who is labeled as a low achiever.
