This is the part where you have to share your thoughts based in your own understanding as
well as your experiences.
1. Do you consider yourself beautiful or handsome? What is your concept of beauty?
 Yes
 Because we are all created by God and we are all beautiful and handsome in God’s eye.
 Beauty has come in many ways like:
 Beauty is happiness. Beauty is a value, that it is not a perception of a matter of fact or of a
relation. Beauty is an emotion, an affection of our volitional and appreciative nature.
2. What is the society’s concept of beauty? Do these perceptions really matter?
 Society believes that beauty is about how flawless you look and how you fit into the
world has been perfected.
 No matter how much self-confidence one possesses, it is almost impossible to ignore
what society defines as beauty.
 No
 Because society can’t judge us, we are all beautiful. Maybe not in everyone’s eye but we
are all beautiful in God’s perceptions.
3. What do we exactly mean by body image? In what way we could help others and
ourselves develop a positive body image?
 Body image refers to a person’s emotional attitudes, beliefs, and perceptions of their own
body.
 Body image refers to how an individual sees their own body and how attractive they
feel themselves to be.
 To help others and ourselves develop a positive body image we must first, do appreciate
all that our body can do. Second, we must remind ourselves that true beauty is not simply
skin-deep. Third we must also look at ourselves as a whole person.
 Also, we must surround ourselves with positive people. And Lastly, we must do
something nice for ourselves.
Instructions: You are tasked to put your picture (whole body) inside the box. Not baby
picture and preferably your recent picture. Answer the questions below.

1. Given the chance, which part of your body do you want to change? Why?
Nothing, I don’t want to change any part of my body because I totally accepted what God has
given to me for what I have now. I will take care of myself and make it grow to have a healthy
life.
2. Which part do you want to retain? Why?
Nothing, because all part of our body is changing and it is part of our life because we are
growing as we aged. We must accept who we are and what we are because that was God has
given to us.
