PROCEDURES
Introductory Activity
Time Frame: 5 mins. Review students on the previous lesson.
1. What is gender role?
2. What is sexuality?

Activity Present students some pictures. Ask the students the following questions:
Time Frame:
15 mins.

1. Describe what each picture is about.


Ans: 1. A woman having a check-up or assessing her health
2. A woman making decisions
3. A person setting a goal
2. Are these concepts important to improve your sexual health? Why?
Note: The teacher will introduce that these concepts are part of LIFE SKILLS.

Analysis
Time Frame:
15 mins. Group students into 7. The teacher will give each group a strip of paper
containing the different life skills that help to improve sexual health. (This can
be done through a draw by lot).
After, the group will brainstorm on how the life skill can help a person improve
his/her sexual health. The group will then choose a representative to report
their answer to the class.

Abstraction The teacher will give additional input/information on the different life skills
Time Frame: through a powerpoint presentation. (SEE PPT)

Application Using the same group, the students will then do a role play about their

Assessment On a piece of paper, explain the importance of using the life skills in improving

Assignment On a piece of paper, list down 5 issues/concerns you as a teenager wants your
Time Frame: family or the society to understand.
