I. Obectives:
1. identify the parts of the eyes
2. describe the functions of the eyes
2. Participate actively in class discussion
III. Procedure:
1. Elicit:
How many sense organ do you think we have?
2. Engage:
Call one of the pupils to stand in the front of the class. (Who is blind folded)
Ask your pupils, what did you notice on your classmate?
What sense organ is not shown?
3. Explore:
Let the pupils stands and get a partner.
Say: Look at the eyes of your partner. Draw the parts that you see.
Give the pupis 10 minutes to do it.
4. Explain:
Let the students do their activity.
Let the student present their drawing.
Process their responses to correct misconceptions if there are any and to arrive at the correct
ideas/concepts.
5. Elaborate:
What are the parts of the eyes that we can see? Or what are the external part of the eyes?
Answer: cornea, iris and pupil
What are the inner parts of the eye that we cannot see in the front of the mirror?
Answer: lens, retina and optic nerve

Give three healthful habits for the eye.
1. Eat well.
2. Wear sunglasses.
3. Use safety eyewear
4. Look away from computer/cellphone screen.
5. Visit your doctor.
