NARRATIVE REPORT ON VIRTUAL ORIENTATION IN HOMEROOM

GUIDANCE PHILIPPINES

In accordance to DepEd Memorandum DM-OUCI-2021-346 or Revised

Implementation of Homeroom Guidance (HG) During Crisis Situation for School Year 2021-

2022, Mrs. Leonalyn D. Pulgo, Teacher I and Grade 5 class adviser of Sinala Elementary

School conducted a virtual orientation about Homeroom Guidance Philippines among the

parents and learners of the student body. This was held during the 30 th day of September in

the present year at 8:30 in the morning via google meet.

The orientation started with a simple prayer followed by the discussion of the

following: 1. Meaning and Objectives of Homeroom Guidance, 2. Different challenges of

Learners, 3. The Three Aspects of Homeroom Guidance, 4. Homeroom Guidance Learners’

Development Assessment.

During the orientation proper, the class adviser discussed the topics and there was also

an open forum between the participants, they were free to ask questions regarding to the

topics that had been discussed. There were many questions raised by parents and learners that

were answered well by the class adviser.

The orientation was ended ensuring that all matters that have been discussed are fully

understand by the parents and learners. The orientation ended at exactly 9:30 in the morning.
