“ANTI – COVID 19 KIT DISTRIBUTION”

OVERVIEW AND RATIONALE:

According to RESOLUTION NO. 159-A Series of 2022. Section 2 (c) of Executive

Order No. 168 (s.2014) mandates the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of
Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF) to prevent and/or minimize the local spread of
emerging infectious diseases (EID) in the country through the establishment or reinforcement
of a system in screening possible patients infected with EID, contact tracing, identification of
the mode of exposure to the virus, and implementation of effective quarantine and proper
isolation procedures;

the IATF approved the shift in the policy of classifying Provinces, Highly Urbanized
Cities (HUCs), and Independent Component Cities (ICC) for purposes of community
quarantine and adopted the Alert Level System for identified pilot areas of implementation
and piloted the implementation thereof in the National Capital Region (NCR) on 08
September 2021, and has since expanded to other regions;

as it is hereby resolved, that the IATF approves the recommendations of the sub-
Technical Working Group on Data Analytics placing the following provinces, highly
urbanized cities (HUCs), and independent component cities (ICCs) under their respective
Alert Levels effective 01 February 2022 until 15 February 2022:

1. For Luzon:

A. National Capital Region

As we are now in the Level 2 restriction of IATF. In this level of restriction, people
tend to celebrate any occasion. We tend to gather in larger groups, we tend to spend time
together with friends and extended family. So, that it is possible to increase the risks of this
covid 19 virus to spread and we need to make sure that we remember those safety measures
that we have to take.

It’s important that everybody still adheres to the public health measures that are
outlined in the areas where they live. Part of this is really a show of solidarity with everybody
else that is going through this difficult time, but we don't know how long the immune
response lasts. So, it is important that we continue to practice physical distancing, we
continue to make sure that we have clean hands, we use soap and water or an alcohol-based
rub, we wear a mask where appropriate and we take all of the precautions that are outlined in
the areas where we live.

It is therefore necessary that the current officials of the Sangguniang Kabataan of

Barangay Alabang be able to provide Anti Covid 19 Kit to the people of Barangay Alabang
especially to the Katipunan ng Kabataan.

VENUE AND DATE OF IMPLEMENTATION:

The activity will be conducted on February 20, 2022, 10:00 am at the Purok 4, Railside Alabang. The
SK will ensure adherence to existing health and safety protocols.
