NARRATIVE REPORT ON BRIGADA ESKWELA 2019

INTRODUCTION

Brigada Eskwela has been a part of our yearly activities. It aims to prepare the school in
the opening of classes and make the students feel that they are welcome and safe in the
school. Based on the implementing guidelines, Brigada Eskwela must be implemented every
month of May of the yearwithin one week. This year’s Brigada Eskwela was scheduled on MAY
20 -25, 2019 with the theme “Matatag na Bayan para sa Maunlad na Paaralan”.

METHODOLOGY
Before the conduct of Brigada Eskwela 2019, several processes and methodologies were
used. The following are the list of the processes conducted.

 Planning – all teachers, students, and other stakeholders attended the 1 day
planning.
 Committee Formulation – the Brgida Eskwela Coordinator made a list of proof
committee to work on a particular areas of designation.
 Identification of facilities that needs improvement.
 Identification of possible donors.
 Distribution of solicitation letters.

RESULT

Through the methodologies listed above, the Brigada Eskwela 2019 was successfully
conducted. All activities listed and facilities need improvement were all catered. The following
results were obtained.
a. Most of the identified physical facilities that need improvement were fixed and
repaired. Those which are insufficient have been added.
b. School work plan has been successfully implemented.
c. Resource mobilization is not evident as we are far from the city proper. Thus, it is just
normal that the school will lack access to donations and assistance coming from other
agencies.
d. There is a good participation of the stakeholders, students, and alumni during the
conduct of the Brigada Eskwela 2019. A summary of the attendance of the volunteers
per day are listed below.

e. The school got some donations such as cash, paints, construction materials, notebooks,
and etc. from different individuals and organizations.
DISCUSSION

Knowing the fact that our school is far from the city proper, it still able to collect some
donations from different people and organizations. This coming school year is a manifestation
that our stakeholders are really supporting this activity as seen on the result that there were
many volunteers coming from different sectors

CONCLUSION

Overall, the activity was a success. So far, this year has been a great year for our school
not only because we have got some donations but the most important thing is the people who
showed their support to the school. This only implies that the relationship of the school and the
community is getting stronger.

RECOMMENDATION
 Always coordinate with the barangay officials for them to help in information
dissemination.
