SUBJECT: SCOPE OF WORKS

1. INTRODUCTION

The Works in this document is for the Construction of a Proposed One Storey Residential Building to
be located at Zone 2 Gimaga Goa Camarines Sur. The works shall follow the general requirements
and activities that are included in this document

2. SUMMARY OF WORKS
2.1. The project requires the following activity
2.1.1.1. Site works
a) Safety
1. All activities shall perform based on Occupational Safety and Health
Standards in Philippine Workplaces through RA 11058
2. PPE that provided by the contractor shall be worn all the time in
performing the activity.
3. The contractor is responsible in disposing the debris, personal and
jobsite trash.
b) Site clearing
1. The contractor is responsible in removing and disposing all plants
and shrubs in the site.
c) Layout
1. Installation of batter board and establishing reference elevation
2.1.1.2. Earth Works

a) Safety

1. All activities shall perform based on Occupational Safety and Health

Standards in Philippine Workplaces through RA 11058.

2. PPE that provided by the contractor shall be worn all the time in
performing the activity.

3. The contractor is responsible in disposing the debris, personal and jobsite

trash.

b) Excavation

1. Excavation and backfilling for the preparation in structural works.

2. Filling and grading, bedding, backfilling of structural excavation and

compaction.

3. The contactor shall include the preparation for the installment of

sewage system in excavating.
2.1.1.3. Structural works

a) Safety

1. All activities shall perform based on Occupational Safety and Health

Standards in Philippine Workplaces through RA 11058.

2. PPE that provided by the contractor shall be worn all the time in
performing the activity.

3. The contractor is responsible in disposing the debris, personal and jobsite

trash.

b) Concrete

1. Provide and install all concrete footing, column and beams together with
reinforcement steel bars that based on the plan.

2. The contactor should provide connection to masonry works such as dowel

and other connection needed.

3. The contactor shall provide a covering to all exposed rebar in accordance to

OSHAPW.

2.1.1.4. Masonry works

a) Safety

1. All activities shall perform based on Occupational Safety and Health Standards
in Philippine Workplaces through RA 11058.

2. PPE that provided by the contractor shall be worn all the time in performing
the activity.

3. The contractor is responsible in disposing the debris, personal and jobsite

trash.

b) Masonry

1. The contractor shall follow all the specified specification in particular in this
scope of work.

2. The contactor shall provide the sizes of CHB specified in the specification.

3. This works shall include the specified mortar, and horizontal reinforcement.

4. The contactor shall provide a space for electrical outlets, pluming piping and
etc.

5. All progress and final cleaning of masonry included.

 6. The contractor shall install all masonry door frames and window frames in
masonry walls. Frames to be fully grouted.

2.1.1.5. Roofing & welding works

a) Safety
1. All activities shall perform based on Occupational Safety and Health
Standards in Philippine Workplaces through RA 11058.
2. PPE that provided by the contractor shall be worn all the time in performing
the activity.
3. The contractor is responsible in disposing the debris, personal and jobsite
trash.
b) Materials
1. All Roofing sheet and metal (for trusses) as required in this work shall
reference to the drawing and specification.
c) Labor
1. The contractor should hire a skilled personal for this scope of work

2.1.1.6. Floor works

a) Safety
1. All activities shall perform based on Occupational Safety and Health Standards
in Philippine Workplaces through RA 11058.
2. PPE that provided by the contractor shall be worn all the time in performing
the activity.
3. The contractor is responsible in disposing the debris, personal and jobsite
trash.

b) Materials

1. The contractor shall provide a various design of tiles based on the specified
specification.

2. The contactor shall provide appropriate tools in installing the tiles

c) Includes all required labor, material, and equipment to complete this scope of work
in accordance with the project schedule

2.1.1.7. Doors & Windows

1. ALUM. FRAMED SINGLE SLIDING GLASS DOOR IN BEDROOMS AND LIVING
AREA

3. ALUM. FRAMED FIXED GLASS WDW. 1-SET MAIN ENTANCE
4. SOLID PANEL SWING DOOR 1-SET IN MAIN ENTRANCE
5. MOULDED TYPE DOOR IN BEDROOM 1 AND BEDROOM 2
2.1.1.8. Pluming works/Sanitary works
1. The Contractor shall follow all general plumbing works for toilet and pantry as
indicated in drawings and specification
2. The contractor shall include the construction of septic tank
 3. Installation of all Plumbing Fixtures (water closets, lavatories, urinals, sinks,
foot baths, etc) as indicated in drawing

2.1.1.9. Carpentry Works

1. All materials shall follow the specified specification.
2. Supply and delivery of materials, fabrication and installation of conventional
ceiling
3. The contractor must include the fabrication and installation of overhanging
cabinets and tables

2.1.1.10. Electrical Works

1.The general works shall include the construction and installation of roughing
pins, wires and cable system, lighting fixtures, wiring devices, exhaust fan
including ducting system, panel boards & breakers, transformer pad.
electrical room including embedding of roughing ins from
transformer pad area going to proposed location of electrical room

2.1.1.11. Painting Work

1. The contractor shall paint all drywall partitions, masonry walls, drywall
ceilings and exposed ceilings.
2. Paint all exposed ductwork, exposed conduit, exposed piping per plans and
specifications.
