Signage is very important in all communities so that people are all aware of all possible
dangers and hazards ahead in certain situations or environments. It can make people
aware of the do’s and don'ts in every place they want to go. Safety is the prime concern
and matters most.
The signage warns women to be cautious, especially pregnant women, senior citizens,
and children who are especially vulnerable in all hazardous areas. It may be taken as
an alert to avoid or to slowly walk on the slippery floor. This is an important reminder to
prevent a major accident.

“In case of fire, do not use elevator”

The option of safe escape is the most important feature of a building's safety in case of
a fire. The evidence suggests that in high-rise fires, smoke is often the leading cause of
fatalities. It is possible that a smoke trap in the elevator caused the individuals to
suffocate.

Therefore, elucidating the impression that it is necessary to be fully aware of the

signage to prevent a misconception when in a hysterical condition. An important aspect
in buildings is fire evacuation stairs. It is essential for people's needs during a fire
incident. As a matter of fact, it is significant to make the signage bigger to draw the
attention of people in case of fire.

The message that I am trying to convey is that most Filipinos have this thing called the
"crab mentality”. Everything for them is an issue, regardless of the norms, culture, and
such. The 20+ pinoy points is telling that they are scored up for being so-called "pinoy"
or "marites and bogart" because of their attitude.

TASK 5: Communicate!
1. Why are Television and Internet considered multimodal?
Television and the Internet are considered multimodal because of the fact that there are
plenty of modes of information people can get through watching television or even
browsing on the Internet. Moreover, there is various knowledge along the lines of
specific interest to every individual, which is able to widen the range of consciousness.
2. What is the meaning of "online newspapers are more personal because they
target particular audiences"?
The majority of people using social media, to be specific, are obviously people who can
access the internet. This actively demonstrates that people can freely write their
opinions and easily target who they want to target. By means of this, it is truly alarming
for the people who can’t think twice before entering it on a social media platform and
then accidentally get into the mess that will cater to the standpoint.
3. Why is it difficult for us to know what news to trust on twitter?
It is difficult for us to know what news to trust on Twitter because there are a lot of
hackers scattered all over the internet world. They have the ability to access the verified
account of a specific commercial television network or other entity that has an account
on Twitter and then intentionally spread fake news by the hackers. But then, at all times,
there are security measures to be taken to guard the verified accounts. In addition to
this, posers exist. They can also spread fake news that is equally alarming to every
netizen.

TASK 6: Connect!
Ripple by Community Chest Singapore tells a very touching story that implies uplifting
their day through doing nice to someone. The act of helping people is like giving
appreciation to God. It is not bad to help unless it is inconvenient for your daily life. The
message of the video I watched was that showing simple service has a large impact on
people and they can inherit it throughout their lives. The magic of kindness and
generosity is shown, together with the great wave of gratitude towards it. A person can
form a good heart towards other people as a result of their past rough patches.
