ARVIN ENRICO SEC 1 THE TEACHING SCIENCE

BSED II GENERAL SCIENCE MR. JOHANN CALDERERO

FINALS EXAMINATION

1. What significant lessons did you learn from creating a video demonstration and discuss the
priorities you considered specially this time of new normal wherein new modalities have been
implemented.

1. The significant lessons I've learned from creating a video demonstration are clear and impressive to
open up and inculcate the mind of learners, it is the best way to easily touch and cope up from your
lesson, less used of voice know more in action to instruct. t will also be meaningful and beneficial for the
students we teach. He must have a purpose and good objective that the children will learn from the
video demonstrations we will do. During this pandemic, this way of teaching was very important. In this
way, we can teach our students well like we are talking normally in the face to face class. Here, children
can more easily understand our lessons because the ideas and terms of what we teach are well
explained. And so far in my study, it is often used because it is more effective, easy to understand and to
analyze.

2. Discuss how the video demonstration will help you to perform your lessons in the near future.
2. The advantage of creating a video as a teaching process is a way to attract and catch the attention of
listeners or learners, and it will be interesting enough to understand the situation, in that way around
there will be interesting questions and very convenient to answers some following thoughts. The
discussion under a video presentation is well presented due to the help of slip clips and visual
information to widen the knowledge of a learner. A video demonstration is a great help for us future
teachers, because of these innovative teaching methods like this, it is easier to explain to the students
the lessons and with the help of new equipment and technology. Video demonstration involves showing
your students an experiment, process, or phenomenon. It is a strategy that is often used in science
teaching. Video demonstrations offer useful opportunities for purposeful participation in learning that
can enhance understanding of the concepts given in the textbook.
3. Create a journal showing the lessons you have learned on this subject. Indicate also the struggles
you go through during this pandemic specially when submitting the requirements and how you
surpassed this even if trials and challenges are there.
3. First of all I would like to thank the Lord for all the guidance and blessings he has given to me and my
family. With the opportunity, he gave me to be able to study in college. I chose the education course so I
can help our young people shape them for their future. Science is my major choice because it is
interesting to study. I learned a lot from my Teaching Science subject that I will use in my future
teaching profession. To learn science is to do science. Science is more on curiosity, so you should know a
lot about it that you will share with your future students. Science also answers facts through
experiments, data collection, and shreds of evidence. The implementation of the Scientific method is
important when investigating or conducting research. Using different strategies in teaching science that I
also learned in this subject especially during the pandemic we are facing today. I also faced many
obstacles in my studies. I am a working student, I need to go to work and spent 8-12 hours every day.
After my duty, I need to check my lesson and do the task given by my instructor. The difficulty of time
management is my biggest problem in this kind of schooling. The second is the internet connection
because we are in an online class and it's difficult for me without our internet connection. That’s why I
am not immediately updated on what to do in all subjects. Another thing is that I have a hard time when
it comes to English, I take a long time to answer some activities that need to be submitted. All of that is
what I dealt with and learned in this subject. What I wanted most on my journey in Teaching Science
was to have my teacher Johann Calderero, a very kind, and understanding teacher. A teacher who loves
and cares for his students especially in our current situation. He is the teacher who raised us when we
are almost giving up because of the difficulty of this style of learning. A teacher who acknowledges the
student's achievement and the reason why we like to study more. So I sincerely thank you, Sir. We may
have some shortcomings in your subject, but this does not stop you from leaving us in this situation.
Thank you very much.
