Effects Of Physical Absence Of OFW Parents To Dominican School Manila Students’ Behaviors And
Well-Being

Research Problem:
This research is created to determine the possible solution to the tremendous and negative impact on
the psychological well-being of teens whose parents are overseas Filipino workers. Specifically, it
attempts to answer the following research questions:
1. What are the effects of having OFW parents to the behavioral well-being of teenagers
2. How does the physical absences of parents affect teenager’s social interactions between;
a) Parents
b) Peers
c) Teachers
3. Does the pros of having OFW parents outweigh the cons of it?
4. What are the viable solutions to help improve the communication between OFW parents and their
