.‫للتراث معنى شامل لكل ماهو موروث ثقافيا من قيم وتقاليد و معمار يمثل تاريخ وثقافة المجتمع‬

Heritage has a comprehensive meaning for every culturally inherited values, traditions and

architecture that represent the history and culture of society.

‫ ويعكس البنية االقتصادية‬،‫ويعتبر هو الصلة المادية التي تربط المعاصرين بأسالفهم ويجسد القيم الثقافية الحضارية‬

.‫واالجتماعية التي عاشها األجداد‬

Heritage is considered to be the physical connection that links contemporaries to their

ancestors and it embodies cultural civilizations values, and reflects the economic and social

structure lived by the ancestors.

‫ بإطالق "اتفاقية التراث العالمي" التي‬1972 ‫وقد تبنت منظمة اليونسكو حماية التراث العالمي الثقافي والطبيعي عام‬

‫ ومسؤولية إدارته تعتبر مسؤولية جماعية حتى لو بقيت‬،‫أكدت على أن التراث في العالم له أهميته وقيمته لإلنسانية بأسرها‬

.‫المسؤولية الفعلية للدولة التي تتواجد بها اآلثار‬

In the year of 1972 the UNESCO has adopted the protection of the world's cultural and natural

heritage by launching "World Heritage Convention" which emphasized that heritage in the

world has its importance and value for all humanity, and the responsibility for its management

is considered collective, even if the actual responsibility remains for the state in which the

antiquities are located.

‫وقد توسع تطبيق االتفاقية ال ليشمل فقط المباني الكبيرة والقصور بل أصبح يضم ماهو مسا ٍو لها في األهمية مثل المواقع‬

.‫األثرية عن العلوم والتكنولوجيا والصناعة والزراعة والمناظر الطبيعية‬

The implementation of the Convention has expended not only to include large buildings and

mansions, but also to include what is equally important to it, such as archaeological sites about

science, technology, manufacture, agriculture and landscapes.
