Genesis Chapter 7 ‫ית‬ ‫ְּב ֵר אִׁש‬

‫ַא ָּת ה‬-‫ ֹּבא‬, ‫ַוֹּיאֶמ ר ְיהָוה ְלֹנַח‬  ‫א‬ 1 And the LORD said unto Noah: 'Come
thou and all thy house into the ark; for thee
‫ֹאְת ָך ָר ִא יִת י‬-‫ ִּכ י‬ :‫ַה ֵּת ָב ה‬-‫ֵּב יְת ָך ֶא ל‬-‫ְו ָכל‬ have I seen righteous before Me in this
.‫ ַּב ּדֹור ַה ֶּזה‬,‫ַצ ִּד יק ְלָפַני‬ generation.
‫ְלָך‬-‫ ִּת ַּק ח‬,‫ִמ ֹּכל ַה ְּב ֵה ָמ ה ַה ְּט הֹוָר ה‬  ‫ב‬ 2 Of every clean beast thou shalt take to thee
seven and seven, each with his mate; and of
;‫ִא יׁש ְו ִא ְׁש ּתֹו‬--‫ִׁש ְב ָע ה ִׁש ְב ָע ה‬ the beasts that are not clean two [and two],
,‫ַה ְּב ֵה ָמ ה ֲא ֶׁש ר ֹלא ְט ֹהָר ה ִה וא‬-‫ּוִמ ן‬ each with his mate;
.‫ִא יׁש ְו ִא ְׁש ּתֹו‬--‫ְׁש ַנִים‬
‫ ָזָכר‬,‫ַּגם ֵמ עֹוף ַה ָּׁש ַמ ִים ִׁש ְב ָע ה ִׁש ְב ָע ה‬  ‫ג‬ 3 of the fowl also of the air, seven and seven,
male and female; to keep seed alive upon the
.‫ָה ָא ֶר ץ‬-‫ְּפ ֵני ָכל‬-‫ ַע ל‬,‫ ְלַח ּיֹות ֶזַר ע‬,‫ּוְנֵק ָב ה‬ face of all the earth.
‫ ָא ֹנִכ י ַמ ְמ ִט יר‬,‫ִּכ י ְלָיִמ ים עֹוד ִׁש ְב ָע ה‬  ‫ד‬ 4 For yet seven days, and I will cause it to
rain upon the earth forty days and forty
‫ ְו ַא ְר ָּב ִע ים‬,‫ ַא ְר ָּב ִע ים יֹום‬,‫ָה ָא ֶר ץ‬-‫ַע ל‬ nights; and every living substance that I have
‫ַה ְיקּום ֲא ֶׁש ר‬-‫ָּכל‬-‫ ֶא ת‬,‫ָלְיָלה; ּוָמ ִח יִת י‬ made will I blot out from off the face of the
.‫ ְּפ ֵני ָה ֲא ָד ָמ ה‬,‫ ֵמ ַע ל‬,‫ָע ִׂש יִת י‬ earth.'

.‫ ְיהָוה‬,‫ִצ ָּוהּו‬-‫ ְּכ ֹכל ֲא ֶׁש ר‬, ‫ ֹנַח‬,‫ַוַּיַע ׂש‬  ‫ה‬ 5 And Noah did according unto all that the
LORD commanded him.
‫ֵׁש ׁש ֵמ אֹות ָׁש ָנה; ְו ַה ַּמ ּבּול‬-‫ ֶּב ן‬, ‫ְו ֹנַח‬  ‫ו‬ 6 And Noah was six hundred years old when
the flood of waters was upon the earth.
.‫ָה ָא ֶר ץ‬-‫ ַמ ִים ַע ל‬,‫ָה ָיה‬
‫ָב ָניו‬-‫ ּוָב ָניו ְו ִא ְׁש ּתֹו ּוְנֵׁש י‬, ‫ַוָּיֹבא ֹנַח‬  ‫ז‬ 7 And Noah went in, and his sons, and his
wife, and his sons' wives with him, into the
.‫ ֵמ י ַה ַּמ ּבּול‬,‫ ִמ ְּפ ֵני‬ :‫ַה ֵּת ָב ה‬-‫ֶא ל‬--‫ִא ּתֹו‬ ark, because of the waters of the flood.
,‫ ַה ְּט הֹוָר ה‬,‫ַה ְּב ֵה ָמ ה‬-‫ִמ ן‬  ‫ח‬ 8 Of clean beasts, and of beasts that are not
clean, and of fowls, and of every thing that
;‫ ֲא ֶׁש ר ֵא יֶנָּנה ְט ֹהָר ה‬,‫ַה ְּב ֵה ָמ ה‬-‫ּוִמ ן‬ creepeth upon the ground,
,‫ֹרֵמ ׂש‬-‫ְו ֹכל ֲא ֶׁש ר‬--‫ָה עֹוף‬-‫ּוִמ ן‬
.‫ָה ֲא ָד ָמ ה‬-‫ַע ל‬
, ‫ֹנַח‬-‫ְׁש ַנִים ְׁש ַנִים ָּב אּו ֶא ל‬  ‫ט‬ 9 there went in two and two unto Noah into
the ark, male and female, as God commanded
‫ ַּכֲא ֶׁש ר ִצ ָּוה‬ :‫ָזָכר ּוְנֵק ָב ה‬--‫ַה ֵּת ָב ה‬-‫ֶא ל‬ Noah.
. ‫ֹנַח‬-‫ ֶא ת‬,‫ֱא ֹלִה ים‬
 ,‫ ְלִׁש ְב ַע ת ַה ָּיִמ ים; ּוֵמ י ַה ַּמ ּבּול‬,‫ַוְיִה י‬  ‫י‬ 10 And it came to pass after the seven days,
that the waters of the flood were upon the
.‫ָה ָא ֶר ץ‬-‫ָה יּו ַע ל‬ earth.
, ‫ֹנַח‬-‫ ְלַח ֵּיי‬,‫ֵמ אֹות ָׁש ָנה‬-‫ִּב ְׁש ַנת ֵׁש ׁש‬  ‫יא‬ 11 In the six hundredth year of Noah's life, in
the second month, on the seventeenth day of
-‫ָע ָׂש ר יֹום ַלֹחֶד ׁש‬-‫ ְּב ִׁש ְב ָע ה‬,‫ַּב ֹחֶד ׁש ַה ֵּׁש ִני‬ the month, on the same day were all the
‫ַמ ְע ְיֹנת ְּת הֹום‬-‫ ִנְב ְק עּו ָּכל‬,‫ַּב ּיֹום ַה ֶּזה‬- fountains of the great deep broken up, and the
.‫ ִנְפ ָּת חּו‬,‫ ַוֲא ֻר ֹּבת ַה ָּׁש ַמ ִים‬,‫ַר ָּב ה‬ windows of heaven were opened.

‫ ַא ְר ָּב ִע ים‬,‫ָה ָא ֶר ץ‬-‫ ַע ל‬,‫ַוְיִה י ַה ֶּגֶׁש ם‬  ‫יב‬ 12 And the rain was upon the earth forty days
and forty nights.
.‫ ְו ַא ְר ָּב ִע ים ָלְיָלה‬,‫יֹום‬
‫ְו ָח ם‬-‫ ְו ֵׁש ם‬, ‫ְּב ֶע ֶצ ם ַה ּיֹום ַה ֶּזה ָּב א ֹנַח‬  ‫יג‬ 13 In the selfsame day entered Noah, and
Shem, and Ham, and Japheth, the sons of
‫ ּוְׁש ֹלֶׁש ת‬, ‫ֹנַח ; ְו ֵא ֶׁש ת ֹנַח‬-‫ָוֶיֶפת ְּב ֵני‬ Noah, and Noah's wife, and the three wives
.‫ַה ֵּת ָב ה‬-‫ֶא ל‬--‫ָב ָניו ִא ָּת ם‬-‫ְנֵׁש י‬ of his sons with them, into the ark;
,‫ַה ַח ָּיה ְלִמ יָנּה‬-‫ֵה ָּמ ה ְו ָכל‬  ‫יד‬ 14 they, and every beast after its kind, and all
the cattle after their kind, and every creeping
‫ָה ֶר ֶמ ׂש‬-‫ ְו ָכל‬,‫ַה ְּב ֵה ָמ ה ְלִמ יָנּה‬-‫ְו ָכל‬ thing that creepeth upon the earth after its
‫ָה עֹוף‬-‫ ְלִמ יֵנהּו; ְו ָכל‬,‫ָה ָא ֶר ץ‬-‫ָה ֹרֵמ ׂש ַע ל‬ kind, and every fowl after its kind, every bird
.‫ָּכָנף‬-‫ ֹּכל ִצ ּפֹור ָּכל‬,‫ְלִמ יֵנהּו‬ of every sort.

‫ ְׁש ַנִים‬,‫ַה ֵּת ָב ה‬-‫ ֶא ל‬, ‫ֹנַח‬-‫ַוָּיֹבאּו ֶא ל‬  ‫טו‬ 15 And they went in unto Noah into the ark,
two and two of all flesh wherein is the breath
.‫ּבֹו רּוַח ַח ִּיים‬-‫ ֲא ֶׁש ר‬,‫ַה ָּב ָׂש ר‬-‫ְׁש ַנִים ִמ ָּכל‬ of life.
‫ָּב ָׂש ר‬-‫ ָזָכר ּוְנֵק ָב ה ִמ ָּכל‬,‫ְו ַה ָּב ִא ים‬  ‫טז‬ 16 And they that went in, went in male and
female of all flesh, as God commanded him;
‫ ֱא ֹלִה ים; ַוִּיְס ֹּגר‬,‫ ַּכֲא ֶׁש ר ִצ ָּוה ֹאתֹו‬,‫ָּב אּו‬ and the LORD shut him in.
.‫ ַּב ֲעדֹו‬,‫ְיהָוה‬
,‫ַוְיִה י ַה ַּמ ּבּול ַא ְר ָּב ִע ים יֹום‬  ‫יז‬ 17 And the flood was forty days upon the
earth; and the waters increased, and bore up
‫ ַוִּיְׂש אּו‬,‫ָה ָא ֶר ץ; ַוִּיְר ּבּו ַה ַּמ ִים‬-‫ַע ל‬ the ark, and it was lifted up above the earth.
.‫ ֵמ ַע ל ָה ָא ֶר ץ‬,‫ ַוָּת ָר ם‬,‫ַה ֵּת ָב ה‬-‫ֶא ת‬
,‫ַוִּיְג ְּב רּו ַה ַּמ ִים ַוִּיְר ּבּו ְמ ֹאד‬  ‫יח‬ 18 And the waters prevailed, and increased
greatly upon the earth; and the ark went upon
‫ְּפ ֵני‬-‫ ַע ל‬,‫ָה ָא ֶר ץ; ַוֵּת ֶלְך ַה ֵּת ָב ה‬-‫ַע ל‬ the face of the waters.
.‫ַה ָּמ ִים‬
--‫ ָּגְב רּו ְמ ֹאד ְמ ֹאד‬,‫ְו ַה ַּמ ִים‬  ‫יט‬ 19 And the waters prevailed exceedingly
upon the earth; and all the high mountains
‫ֶה ָה ִר ים‬-‫ ָּכל‬,‫ָה ָא ֶר ץ; ַוְיֻכּסּו‬-‫ַע ל‬ that were under the whole heaven were
.‫ַה ָּׁש ָמ ִים‬-‫ ָּכל‬,‫ַּת ַח ת‬-‫ ֲא ֶׁש ר‬,‫ַה ְּג ֹבִה ים‬ covered.
‫ ָּגְב רּו‬,‫ֲח ֵמ ׁש ֶע ְׂש ֵר ה ַא ָּמ ה ִמ ְלַמ ְע ָלה‬  ‫כ‬ 20 Fifteen cubits upward did the waters
prevail; and the mountains were covered.
.‫ ֶה ָה ִר ים‬,‫ַה ָּמ ִים; ַוְיֻכּסּו‬
,‫ָה ָא ֶר ץ‬-‫ָּב ָׂש ר ָה ֹרֵמ ׂש ַע ל‬-‫ַוִּיְג ַוע ָּכל‬  ‫כא‬ 21 And all flesh perished that moved upon
 ,‫ַה ֶּׁש ֶר ץ‬-‫ ּוְב ָכל‬,‫ָּב עֹוף ּוַב ְּב ֵה ָמ ה ּוַב ַח ָּיה‬ the earth, both fowl, and cattle, and beast,
and every swarming thing that swarmeth
.‫ ָה ָא ָד ם‬,‫ְו ֹכל‬--‫ָה ָא ֶר ץ‬-‫ַה ֹּׁשֵר ץ ַע ל‬ upon the earth, and every man;
,‫רּוַח ַח ִּיים ְּב ַא ָּפיו‬-‫ֹּכל ֲא ֶׁש ר ִנְׁש ַמ ת‬  ‫כב‬ 22 all in whose nostrils was the breath of the
spirit of life, whatsoever was in the dry land,
.‫ֵמ תּו‬--‫ִמ ֹּכל ֲא ֶׁש ר ֶּב ָח ָר ָב ה‬ died.
‫ְּפ ֵני‬-‫ַה ְיקּום ֲא ֶׁש ר ַע ל‬-‫ָּכל‬-‫ַוִּיַמ ח ֶא ת‬  ‫כג‬ 23 And He blotted out every living substance
which was upon the face of the ground, both
‫ֶר ֶמ ׂש‬-‫ְּב ֵה ָמ ה ַע ד‬-‫ ֵמ ָא ָד ם ַע ד‬,‫ָה ֲא ָד ָמ ה‬ man, and cattle, and creeping thing, and fowl
;‫ָה ָא ֶר ץ‬-‫ ִמ ן‬,‫ ַוִּיָּמ חּו‬,‫עֹוף ַה ָּׁש ַמ ִים‬-‫ְו ַע ד‬ of the heaven; and they were blotted out
.‫ ַּב ֵּת ָב ה‬,‫ֹנַח ַוֲא ֶׁש ר ִא ּתֹו‬-‫ַוִּיָּׁש ֶא ר ַא ְך‬ from the earth; and Noah only was left, and
they that were with him in the ark.
‫ ֲח ִמ ִּׁש ים‬,‫ָה ָא ֶר ץ‬-‫ ַע ל‬,‫ַוִּיְג ְּב רּו ַה ַּמ ִים‬  ‫כד‬ 24 And the waters prevailed upon the earth a
hundred and fifty days.
.‫ יֹום‬,‫ּוְמ ַא ת‬
