“INTRODUCTION TO AGRICULTURAL MACHINERY, OPERATION

AND MAINTENANCE”

On November 05, 2022, the webinar "Introduction to Agricultural Machinery,

Operation and Maintenance" was held via Zoom conference or Facebook Live streaming. The
webinar began at 8:00 AM, and the resource speaker was Engr. Alex B. Albay, a Sales
Operations Engineer at REB-GREENTECH SYSTEMS ENTERPRISES.

Engr. Albay began his presentation by discussing the various types of agricultural

“2-DAY UNDERGRADUATE SEMINAR; OPPORTUNITIES

FOR AGRICULTURAL AND BIOSYSTEMS ENGINEERING PROFESSIONS”

The 2-Day Undergraduate Seminar's second day's activities saw the 4th year students
taking an exam that had been prepared by an Asean Engineer who was billed as their
reviewer. The 3rd year students resumed their participation in the seminar. Since there are
numerous questions, they give the fourth-year students a little bit of time to respond to them
all. During the lecture, the PSABE-PPG-LABO CAMPUS chosen officer students assist the
fourth years. All of the fourth year entered the seminar at the last minute after finishing the
exam. The giving of certificates to guests and participants concludes the second day's
activities which offered us the chance to find the ace of ABE that was hidden. And since we
are ABE students, it is a great pleasure for us to learn a lot throughout the two-day seminar
that we can use and put to use when we get licensed. The Asean Engineer preferred a game in
which the students participated in the first lecture (1st). As a result, the seminar attendees
became more interested in the subject. Following the simple game, all seminar participants
eat lunch. On the first day, the Asean Engineer covers a variety of topics, and for the evening
activities, there is a social night where the third and fourth years mingle with the guests.

The second day of the 2-Day Undergraduate Seminar on Opportunities for

Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering Professions was focused on providing opportunities
for the fourth-year students to review and prepare for an exam. It's good to see that the Asean
Engineer, as well as the PSABE-PPG-LABO CAMPUS officer students, were able to provide
assistance and support to the fourth-year students as they worked to prepare for their exams.
It's also great that the seminar concluded with the presentation of certificates to the guests and
participants, recognizing their efforts and achievements. Overall, it seems like the seminar
was a valuable and beneficial experience for the attendees, and it's likely that they were able
to gain a lot of knowledge and skills that will be useful as they pursue careers in agricultural
and biosystems engineering.
