Subject: temporary arrangment for IR engine rolling.

In connection with meeting held with NTPC on 12.09.2022 at NTPC Darlipali along with SBEL
representatives. It is decided to roll the IR engine on dt. 21.09.2022 with temporary arrangement
for safe engine rolling from laikera station to NTPC plant (Wagon tippler). as this is at utmost priority
from NTPC’s management.

As your aware the above said embankment in laikera siding from ch. 4000 to 4200 is at 21 MTR
height and mansoon is continue for which Earthwork can not be taken up in this period.

It is requested to take up the works from ch. 4000 to 4200 on top most priority by doing temporary
arrangement for safe engine rolling and the expenditure incurred for temporarily arrangment (i. e.
ballies, sand bags, gabion boxes, boulder, labour and transportation of material etc. ) will be agreed
to pay by NTPC as a lump sum item for one time.
